Dozens varieties of hand-made dumplings and other specialty food are available for you to take home and cook at your own convenience at wholesale prices from Asian American Food Company (King of Chinese Dumplings). We sell hand-made food from northern china, including dumplings, pot stickers, wonton and beef/onion/green chives pancakes. In addition, we make Shanghai dim sums and desserts such as marinated steamed bao, radish cake, pork/vegetable buns, bean paste crispy cake and Shanghai style donut. Our fresh ingredients come directly from the local farms markets, and our base soup is prepared by ourselves. Thus, our dumplings and other food quality is top notch in the bay area.

Visited recently and got the green beans, salt & pepper tofu, veggie ho fun, and egg & chive dumplings. While I wasn’t blown away by the food as they mostly serve the “can’t go wrong classics”, it was exactly the warm comfort meal I needed on a cold and cloudy SF day. When you step in the door, you’re transported to through time to the definition of an old school Chinese restaurant with limited seating and smells wafting from the kitchen.
The owner/front of house manager(?) does tend to upsell (ask if you want to also order a veggie or a noodle, etc.) – this happened to every single table when I was there. But the prices are reasonable and the food is good where I didn’t mind too much. Although just wanted to include that heads up as some others were definitely overwhelmed in the moment.

This place is for takeout frozen food not a restaurant. Many selections. They are tasty and easy to prepare at home. The lady who takes the order is very nice. Reasonable price too. Overall, it is a good place to get dumplings and many other goodies to cook at home. I usually shop here once a month.

This place has no dine-in option. It sells frozen food at small packages, 20pcs. Very convenience. You can pay with credit card. We buy 10 packages each time as our emergency food to feed our kids before their games.

Great place to pick up good quality handmade dumplings. Good value and very tasty. I always have some in the freezer for quick meal or snacks. I like the current model where you tell them what you want. Before covid I would wander around looking in all the freezers for the items I needed. Now they quickly grab for you. Bring cash as this is a cash only operation. Take out only. You can go up the street for these dumplings prepared.

I have been coming here for quite a few years (before they changed their name), but the quality and variety of the assortment of dumplings, wontons, and other frozen delights has not changed. I have never been disappointed with the taste or quality of anything purchased here.
It’s a strange thing to say, but the pandemic has actually improved the service here… they have really done a fantastic job of providing more than adequate social distancing. They have blocked the entrance with very long tables so that there is at least 20 feet between yourself and the friendly woman taking your order, and they have a big basket for you to put your money in to pay (Note that this is CASH ONLY), which you slide back and forth, and they package up your purchases very quickly and efficiently.
