I just want to say by far in NJ this chinese spot is Da Spottt !!! . If u are someone that appreciates rich food flavors, then please help urself. ♂️. The aroma, that Real Chinese taste, bursting in ur mouth . And one last thing u don’t wait the 20 minutes which other Chinese restaurants mean by 10 minutes . Can’t say enough about King Wong. The freshest ingredients and the tastiest Chinese around. Their spare ribs are hands down the best in Jersey. The best ribs! They finish them off on a grill so they are kissed with fire before you get them! So delicious. Great steak on a stick, dumplings, everything is super fresh. If you’re brave enough order the general TSO chicken and tell make it spicy. So delicious. Don’t forget to get the house made duck sauce. Still my favorite Chinese in the area. Awesome service!

Tried to give this place another try by ordering something different, still disappointed. Chicken is fried weird, like the oil is old. The fried rice seems old, the “pork” in the rice was slimey. The egg foo young was oily, like old oil. Cannot try again, waste of money.

This is chinese takeout done soooo right! Order here multiple times and its spectacular every single time A few days ago, I was craving King Wong to the point that my mouth was watering. Since King Wong was too far away, I got Chinese takeout at a different restaurant that was closer to me that many reviews said had the best chinese food around… well the “extra crispy” Generals chicken was soggy doughy, mushy clumps, the beef lo mein was flavorless and ridiculously oily, and the hunan beef was full of mushy starchy beans. So today, I grabbed the opportunity when I saw I was able to drive the extra 30 minutes to get King Wong for dinner tonight

Got generals chicken extra crispy, hunan beef, and beef lo mein. Everything was packed with flavor and HIGH quality ingredients. The hunan beef- other restaurants usually fill this dish up with just onion, celery, green bell peppers, carrots, and mushrooms. This hunan beef comes with all those things, AND yellow bell peppers, snow peas, tons of those baby corn cobs, and broccoli. And Finally! A place that actually serves *extra crispy* generals chicken when you ask for it. I came a bit late to pick up my order, drove 20 minutes to get home, and the chicken was STILL nice and crunchy. Thank you!!!
I will be ordering from here for as long as they’re around. This owner knows his trade. He has got a passion for perfection and it shows. The food served here differs significantly from the MSG-laden takeout we are unfortunately too accustomed to. 10 out of 5 stars. Recommend to everyone. You’ll really never be able to go back to other Chinese restaurants. ♀️

I have been getting take out here for me and my family since 2021. It honestly has only gotten better. I decided to write a review because I just had the best batch of Szechuan beef yet. Pork fried rice also top tier. The ingredients are always high quality. Fresh veggies, tender proteins, perfectly cooked rice. So consistently high quality.
