The chinese food here has flavor to it and is not bland like others in the area. The beef actually has a beef texture vs the rubbery “beef” found elsewhere. Generous portions also. Overwhelming number of selections. Service can be a bit slow at times.

What happened to the food!? It used to be a great place to eat. 1 hour wait at the food truck and I was the 2nd to order for the day.
Uhhhhh….ordered chicken Lo mein- there is no sauce and no veggies of any sort maybe 2 pieces of chicken. It’s so bad.

Done Right Property Maintenance
Ordered vegetables lo mein and chow mei fun. Neither had sauce or flavor. Lo mein veggies were just broccoli and mushrooms. Chow mei fun was just plain noodles and chicken. No egg, no chutes or anything. By far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever gotten. Used to love king wok but won’t be returning.
Also I did not know through the order process this was through door dash. Plus there was an overall upcharge of $11 and that was before tip.

Decided to give another try as our last purchase from this food truck in Fall wasn’t so great….
….Order called in. We purchased 5 meals plus egg rolls (and asked for NO MUSHROOMS for everything) from food truck located in Kiel.
I asked Gentleman what estimated cost would be as I was sending someone else to pick up but he didn’t answer and instead just set phone down and after nearly 1 min. hung up.
Sent husband for pick up.
1st thing Gentleman says to my husband was… “sorry busy forgot no mushrooms” …..are you kidding me?…
after already waiting nearly 45 min. for take out ….my husband just paid for the order and left.
Once home it became apparent that the only vegetables in any of the orders was mushrooms and broccoli!
Nothing had any flavor.
Everything was completely bland in taste.
The hunan beef was not spicy at all and my daughter’s Gen. Tso Chicken was so overcooked that it was like rubber and not able to be eaten as it couldn’t be chewed!
Nearly $80 in food that tasted like crap and was very full of mushrooms that were not even asked for!
My family will never order from this truck again or eat at a King Wok establishment after this 2nd in a row disappointing experience. I can not recommend my friends to eat here either.
At the very least he could have apologized, or could have offered a discount or to remake the meals.

This is my favorite restaurant to meet friends and have a delicious lunch (chicken and broccoli)! I must have gone here nearly 100 times, or more, in nearly 20 years. The food is always amazing and the staff is friendly. Keep doing what you’re doing King Wok!

In a word, awful. I have been ordering there for years. Never again. Do not know what happened to this place. Placed a to go order. 2 shrimp egg rolls & a large shrimp fried rice. Was told 15 minutes. I got there 20 minutes later & the guy with ear buds in started cooking my order with dirty pots and pans. Good luck to anybody else.

Ordered 3 things from their food truck: lo mein, combo fried rice w/beef broccoli, orange chicken. Was told there was no rice and if I wanted to substitute for brown rice. Told them no rice for my order is fine then. Only to come home with ONLY 1 full container of fried rice, my fried rice w/beef broccoli, and orange chicken. So where is my lo mein and how did you all of a sudden have rice again?

King Wok use to be my go to for Chinese cuisine until I made an order for delivery. I called at 5:30 pm and placed and order for delivery. They told me that they were very busy and delivery would be around 55 minutes. I live less than 3 miles from restaurant. I was fine with that. 6:40 pm I called and asked for update and they told me driver was on the way. 7:00 pm still no food and I called again. They said driver was on his way. 7:30 pm still no food and I called again and said this was unacceptable and to please cancel my order. They said sorry and food would be there soon. They did not recognize my frustration. Driver showed up and it was owner. Food was luke warm and the receipt showed as 7:15pm. They lied to me every time that I called. This is very poor customer response. We called again and they refused to discuss the issue. We won’t be doing business with them ever again.

have gone here for years, love the food, service is great. We have a 4 legged friend that this restaurant naked special side of chicken and beef combination. love that they deliver now, looking forward to them reopening since pandemic..
