Visiting Klamath Falls for temporary seasonal work, and i really wanted to have some Chinese food. Keep in mind every restaurant is different, and not all food that is considered popular and mainstream (panda) is “authentic” in my humble opinion, the food was delicious, the portion was generous and the service was wonderful. I know quite well that i can easily spend more or slightly the same eating elsewhere, but it also wouldn’t fill me up nicely like this establishment. I had the house lo mein, or noodles . And orange chicken on the side. They warn me, it may be too much to take on alone, but like every other person i was up to the challenge. I’m proud to say… I failed my quest. But happy nevertheless because i took the leftovers home and had a great time. I think if you aren’t confident, just ask for someone’s opinion. Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying something new, or just feeling stubborn about trying it. It’s food, its meant to be delicious and enjoyed. Enjoy your time and take one bite at a time.

I was terribly disappointed with the food. The server disappeared as soon as she could tell we weren’t happy. Not willing to fix it, acting as though it was the best food in Klamath. The “pork fried” rice had a whole 4 pieces of pork and some egg that looked like they scraped it off the side of a pan. Plain and blame looking and tasting. Wanted egg foo young, just basic egg foo young. Nope, I get pork foo young with hard bits of non-chewable pork. I do not get the reviews. Sure big portions. But what’s the point if you don’t eat it. Did see a lot of old people so maybe the lack of taste buds could explain that. Go to Wang’s, much better food, much nicer service and atmosphere. This place will make you feel like you waisted your money.

Haters just like to hate. This place is amazing. I’m currently eating here and the atmosphere is 10/10. Food taste and portions – 10/10. Staff is incredible. I’ve had Chinese food all over the USA and this place has CONSISTENT delicious flavor.

Very Disappointing Experience

My husband and I went to King Wah and it was honestly a really disappointing experience. My husband first ordered a Sierra Mist that tasted completely off — like the syrup or CO₂ was out. The server replaced it with a Pepsi, but that one tasted just as bad, so clearly something was wrong with their CO₂ system that no one checked.

Our food came out and wasn’t good either, but what really stood out was the lack of service. Our server checked on every other table around us but never once came over to ask how we were doing or how the food was — only to ask if we wanted boxes at the end.

When we went to pay, three servers were standing at the counter gossiping and laughing instead of paying attention to guests, which came across as very unprofessional. To make things worse, my dad’s soup was missing from his to-go order.

As someone who works in the restaurant industry myself, I get that bad nights happen — but this wasn’t just a bad night. It was careless, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. Really disappointing, and we won’t be back. Management needs to have a talk with their servers about professionalism and connecting with their tables.

Went here on a Saturday evening. Was quickly shown a seat and given a menu. I ordered the Hot and Sour soup and Mongolian Beef. Both were delicious!

Delicious. Well staffed. You can tell they make their own food. Gyoza and tempera seem very in house made. So surprised and delighted. Extensive menu. Love the 70s looking sign on outside too. Never change it.

Server was awesome
Soup was amazing, wouldn’t order the pot stickers again.
I’m not sure what happened, but the food is lackluster at best, stale at worst.
The chow mein is just flavorless vegetables, mostly bean sprouts, with stale canned (dried, snack mix type) ‘chow mein’ sticks under the vegetables.
The rice is decent, chicken is crunchy but some pieces are drastically saltier than others.
Maybe it’s under new management, I don’t know.

I can see why the reviews are great for this place! The ambiance is typical, but the food and service are very good. It wasn’t super busy but steady at 1:45 in the afternoon. Lots of parking and pricing is on par with similar restaurants. I would come back and do recommend this restaurant very much.
