This is my new go-to dim sum restaurant in the east bay! The dining room is spacious with tall ceilings, natural light, and simply elegant decor. All of my favorite dishes were on the menu and the hot, fresh food arrived quickly. The whole restaurant smelled delicious! I left feeling so lucky to have found this place, and hope to return soon!

Food was amazing, fresh and delicious.
If they have a hot chilli garlic sauce for dumplings and food , it would be wonderful

We went here on a Monday for brunch and we’re a bit disappointed they didn’t have the dim sum carts, I guess they only do that on Sunday but we were able to order dim sum off the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely go back again but next time we will be sure to go on a Sunday because it’s just so fun picking thing out off of the carts where you can see how good everything looks.

Late Dec2024 Large round table banquet style eating ia usually the norm with the usual extensive dim sum and ala carte menu of traditional Cantonese fare. The serving sizes are typical of the American Chinese resto portions which is commonly good.for sharing.
The servers are lively if not with a bit of charactee but are attentive.
The atmosphere is usually audibly loud in a decently large hall with dated furnishings and equally loud old style decors. Touristy vibe but very homely and great place for large groups to gather and dine together

Prices keep going up – cost more than the better tasting new dim sum places in Dublin & Castro Valley!! The owner/ workers never know how to say thank you to the customers!! Usually come across as unfriendly & rude!! Just assume the dummies will keep coming to pay the ridiculous prices for so-so food!!! Charges for auto gratuity for 5 people. The food is not that good to be worth anything close to what they are now overcharging!! And terrible rudeness towards customers!! That older lady owner never can smile to customers not that it would improve anything there! You can find way better dim sum for cheaper elsewhere with friendlier service!

This is my go to spot for dim sum and Chinese food in town. We love the BBQ pork buns, salt and pepper fish, the roasted duck, and chow mein.
The restaurant is located in an old bank in downtown Pinole. The room is large with plenty of seating inside, and plenty of parking outside.
It can get loud when they are busy, and dim sum is always a full room.

This place has great dim sum.
This place still has the carts so you can see the food paraded around. Other places have started requiring you to place orders.
The staff is very nice and accommodating. When we didn’t see something on the carts, we were able to quickly get their attention and they brought it out.
They have a large parking lot that’s almost always full because they share it with other places, but it won’t be too long before you find a spot on the street.

I’m addicted to Dim Sum. I crave Dim Sum once in a while, and KV is my go-to place for it. Everybody is also friendly and helpful especially when I’m asking about a particular Dim Sum I like. The food is cooked nicely. Fresh ingredients! Their Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce is one of my favorites. They have the crunchiest Deep Fried Shrimp Dumplings, too. Yum! Big servings of their lunch combo plates, which makes it an affordable lunch meal. As I’m reviewing this, my stomach is grumbling for Dim Sum. HaHa! Go check them out.

Oh. My. God. The dim sum here is so delicious. The wife and I took a trip on Sunday to Pinole and visit King Valley Tea House.
The staff is real nice and accommodating and always willing to answer questions if you don’t know what you want. We had a variety of dim sum plates that would satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. My favorite dish was the chicken feet.
The menu is reasonable priced, we had about 10 dishes that included stuffed mushrooms, chicken feet, braised pork ribs, shrimp dumplings. Again, the chicken feet were DIVINE!

This restaurant is excellent. The dimsum is on point, and the service is very good. A testament to the excellent food is that the restaurant is always full. I totally recommend you give it a try, worthwhile!
