Both the drinks and the food were high quality and absolutely delicious. What truly made our night extra special, though, was the outstanding service from our server, “Leila”. She paid attention to every detail and went above and beyond, and when she noticed the “Happy Birthday” balloon on our table, she surprised us with a birthday dessert, which made the celebration even more memorable.
Thank you for such a wonderful and thoughtful experience. We’ll definitely be back!
One thing I really loved was the washroom concept — individual stalls with no male or female signs. It’s inclusive and practical — great for everyone, including transgender guests, or even parents accompanying their young kids. That thoughtful touch really stood out to me.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall, the place has a really nice energy — definitely a good spot to hang out or unwind.
However, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. The menu feels very similar to what other restaurants already offer, and the dishes I tried — calamari, wings, and mushroom pizza — lacked distinct flavor and sophistication. I’ve had better versions of the same dishes elsewhere. My peach margarita was also quite sour, and the slush was coarse, making it hard to enjoy.
That said, I’d still come back for the atmosphere, inclusivity, and friendly service — but I’d limit what I order next time. It’s a great place to chill, but don’t expect too much from the food (for now!). Hopefully that will change, because this spot really does have great potential.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The team is attentive without being intrusive, and you can tell they’re well-trained and actually enjoy what they do. They check in at the right times, keep the space moving smoothly, and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the meal. Both of my visits were at different times of the week, and each time the service pace was spot on — no long waits, no confusion, no rushing.
The atmosphere also adds to the experience. The space feels modern, lively, and bright, which makes lunch here feel like a small break from the day rather than just grabbing food. It’s clean, well-kept, and has that relaxed, upbeat energy that makes you want to come back.
Every dish I had tasted great — fresh ingredients, good balance, nothing bland or heavy. It’s clear the kitchen puts effort into what they serve. After two solid visits in a row, I can confidently say King Taps Willowbrook is one of the more dependable and enjoyable spots for lunch in the area. I’m already planning my next time there.
King Taps Willowbrook is an excellent restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, offering both a cozy dining area and a beautiful patio. The service was outstanding quick, attentive, and friendly.
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal! The menu has a great variety of options to choose from. We started with the Crispy Sushi, which was delicious, then had the King Burger and Peri Peri Chicken for our mains. For dessert, we tried Cloud 9 and the Caramel Mousse both were amazing.
Overall, we were extremely impressed with the food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend!
Service was okay until they got our order wrong. Ended up waiting a long time for the right meal to come.
Calamari was tasty, I liked the Serrano peppers and dip, but the portion size was quite small and too salty. Salad was good. Steak not worth the price, grisly and it was also salty.
Interesting name: King Taps. Not sure what they are King of, because the selection of beers on tap was very disappointing. I may try coming again; not sure.
