Wow, can this chef blend flavors! Not only is the entree just wonderful but the sides presented accent the flavors even more. Service was attentive and any request was taken care of quickly and cheerfully. I have heard that the duck here is best. We will return soon to sample.

Maggie was our wonderful waitress. Attentive, knew the wines, knew the menu and specials. Hubby had lamb, fantastic. I had sea bass special, delicious. One of the best dinners we’ve had in recent months. Lovely ambience and venue/location. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

You walk up to this quaint little house and the aromas of delicious food fills your nose. The house has a great selection of beautiful plants out front which give the house that nature and peaceful feel. The porch has the old timey corner adornments of each support post and running the length of the roof. You walk in and the staff greets you with genuine warmth like you just got home. The grouper chefs special was 5 stars and so was the shrimp and artichoke appetizer. Dessert was oh so yummy. Chelsea & Maggie we’re totally professional waitresses too. Don’t miss this restaurant! We’ll be back!

We were hiking on My Mitchell NC Saturday and wondered where we would eat on a Saturday evening knowing we were to go through Asheville NC. Of course, the city was packed, so we chose Morganton NC and googled restaurants which brought up King Street Cafe. We were totally blown away by the food, atmosphere and customer service of this place. A total gem. Anyone not wanting to get caught up in high traffic areas, go find this gem of a restaurant. You don’t know what your missing.
