Don’t wait, check them out. We had a party of three and order two rib-tip dinners with Mac and cheese and beans and one chicken ( white meat ) & rib tip dinner with coleslaw and beans. All dinner’s came with a dinner roll. The rib’s were wonderful, sauce was wonderful, beans were wonderful. I didn’t try the coleslaw or the dinner roll. These three meals with tax was under $55.
This is not a sit-down restaurant, drive-thru or walk-up only.
I would recommend trying them for yourself, I believe that you will not be disappointed.
I am writing to file a formal complaint about the unacceptable treatment I received at King Ribs today while picking up my DoorDash order. I ordered a large tip, cut thin, with a strawberry Fanta during my lunch break. What should have been a simple and routine pickup turned into one of the most embarrassing customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
When I arrived, I asked the lady at the counter if the ribs were cut thin as requested. She told me yes, but once I opened the container, it was obvious they were not. I brought them back and they attempted to cut them thinner, but they still were not the way they used to be.
I calmly told the young man, “If that’s the thinnest you can get them, I’ll take them.” Instead of handing me my food, they told me to contact DoorDash for a refund and refused to give me the order I paid for. I was left standing there confused, embarrassed, and dismissed in front of other customers. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional.
After leaving the restaurant empty-handed, I called in to speak with a manager to understand what happened and to express how I was treated. The woman who answered the phone did not respond to my request for management. Instead, she put the phone down, and I overheard her talking negatively about me, saying things like “she needs to understand we’re not doing it” and “she’s got our customers ready to not order and leave — this is crazy.”
Not once did I raise my voice. I wasn’t rude. I was simply trying to understand why I couldn’t receive the food I paid for. I have spent money with King Ribs multiple times and have never experienced customer service or customer satisfaction this bad.
This situation caused me to waste my entire lunch break, and I had to return to work hungry, embarrassed, and extremely disappointed. I am requesting an immediate resolution, including a full refund for the food I never received and assurance that this type of disrespectful treatment will be addressed.
Sincerely,
SP
