I wasn’t pleased as blk ppl we have to be more patient and not so much of trying to grab each other’s money but rush them off. This is what happened to me I don’t like raw meat if you didn’t have any burgers you could’ve said that instead of making me wait twenty minutes which isn’t enough time to cook these thick burgers! BIG NO! I bought two burgers for nothing didn’t even eat them of course.

The front desk at our hotel suggested this place for BBQ. It was take-out only with a small waiting area. The food is cooked to order, so there is a wait. Many people ordered and left or waited outside. The owner was very personable and even offered free snowcones to those waiting.
The food was good but not necessarily exciting. The fried porkchop was lightly seasoned and fried well. The rib tips were tender, and the sauce was good.

I’ve been a customer for a year or more and received very good food. Yesterday, I recommend a friend to try it and she did. I was very disappointed to hear that her meat was was overcooked, potato salad was runny, and the spaghetti taste and looked like it was from the can. Please do better and make sure the food is cooked properly and is tasteful! 4/1/25
Since I made the above review a few months ago, the owner apologized to my friend about the dissatisfaction of her food. Also, he offered her another plate whenever she comes back. I appreciate him taking the time to talk with her because, good customer service goes a long way when you’re running a business. 7/18/25

Just Doit
So I usually get snoots, they are delish and my son gets a rib tip , excellent. Idk what happened today but my chicken is 3 minutes from raw and the tip tastes like it was cooked in the oven . I should have known better there was no crowd and grills weren’t going . From now on if we don’t smell smoke we don’t stop. On top of raw FEATHERS! Come on this is how you treat regular customers… I rinsed the chicken off and put it in the air fryer , there is no saving the tips …. Disappointed

Hands down Best BBQ in the Lou! Ribs tender and flavorful, snoots cooked to perfection. Make sure you get the potato salad and beans on the side. Look, the neighborhood is not the best, there is no drive thru and you’ll wait a little for your order but it’s precise and portions and hospitality are served in huge quantity.
