By far the best Sopa de Res you can order in the area. The broth is amazing, and the meat tender and seculant (pause). The Peruvian chicken is pretty decent. But it depends on the day you get it how great it is. Staff is friendly and they don’t skimp on the green sauce

The Peruvian chicken here is very tasty! The skin is well flavoured and oily leading to a great taste. The actual breast was a little dry but nothing too bad. The yucca fries were 5 stars for sure, especially with the sauces that came with it

I want to be able to give a better review, but each time we’ve ordered it’s just a little off. Not enough to be serious, but never getting the order right is a concern.

First time was a 1/2 chicken with fries and fried rice. While it was tasty, it showed up with the plain, white rice. Lomo saltado has been right on each time. Another order misstep was the yuca con chicharron, which says it comes with a tomato sauce, cabbage salad, and two tortillas. Now it made it with the pork and yuca, but no tomato sauce, no cabbage, and no tortillas. Again, meal was very tasty. I even ordered a side of the fried rice and it was really good, so much so that I wish my first order had come correct.

Hopefully it’s a couple of small missteps as the food has been good and I’d be willing to give it one more shot.

BEWARE: I’ve never felt so sick in my life. I got down to the last piece of food and saw the biggest fly boiled down in my food. I will never eat there ever again and a fly that size boiled into the pot shows me he been eating in the restaurant for a long time.

Came here last night, from Red Lobster where we left because that place is a dumpster fire. The staff here was incredibly friendly. She got the quarter chicken with macaroni and yuca. I got the pollo saltado with fries and macaroni. The chicken she got was a little dry. Also the macaroni is warm, which wasn’t an issue, but it just caught me by surprise.

This isn’t the best chicken place in NoVA for sure, but the people are nice and the food is decent and you get value and huge portions.

Everything there is very basic, nothing special. The vegetables are frozen, the chicken is fine (but costs more than twice as much as the rotisserie chicken up th street at Safeway), but nothing really stands out other than the yellow sauce. There are plenty of other identical Peruviana chicken places around, no need to drive past any of these to get to this sone. My wife likes their chicken soup and beef when it is cold out or she is sick but, even though they always on the menu, they rarely seem to actually have it. Call ahead if you are going for the soups.
