King Pollo has officially arrived in Lynwood, and after hearing glowing reviews from my parents, I knew I had to experience it firsthand. My partner and I decided to visit and explore the menu in full and we’re glad we did.
From the moment we entered, the hospitality set the tone for the entire visit. The staff greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely proud of their food, a level of enthusiasm that quickly made us feel at home.
We ordered the #19 combo, featuring Half Chipotle and Half Enchilado Chicken and it was nothing short of exceptional. The chicken was deeply flavorful and tender, with each marinade offering a distinct personality. The Chipotle version stood out as my personal favorite, smoky and rich with just the right amount of heat. We also sampled the Original Half Chicken, which was equally impressive in its simplicity and balance.
The Ribs were another highlight, perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. The Carne Asada rounded out the feast beautifully, cooked to perfection and full of authentic taste. The sides accompanying the #19 including the charro beans, Mexican style rice, potato wedges and soft corn tortillas complemented the mains wonderfully and demonstrated attention to detail across the entire meal.
King Pollo has quickly proved itself as a standout addition to the Lynwood dining scene. It’s a place where quality, warmth, and genuine flavor converge. My family ate and felt completely satisfied, and there’s no doubt we’ll be returning soon! Go try them for yourself you will not be disappointed!

I ate here for the first time today and experienced fantastic service and delicious food and really decent prices! I had a battered fish taco, mar y fuego taco, and a shrimp taco dorado. All three tasted delicious. I’ll be coming back and I already told family and friends about it too 🙂

Wow, everything we ordered was scrumptious and piping hot. The shrimp was fresh and there was lots of shrimp in the cocktail. Excellent service and excellent food. If you feel like some sea food, you won’t go wrong eating here. The place is clean and will come back again.

Absolutely will be back. The menu was so interesting we ordered too much food. Try the spicy shrimp taco! The salmon was wonderful. Our daughter lived the fish taco. The shrimp cocktail was perfect. The fresh made guacamole was delightful. No pics this time. I’ll post them next time.

Mar y Fuego is my new favorite spot! The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the Mexican dishes are full of flavor. The green sauce on the burrito mojado was amazing, and the bistec ranchero was perfectly cooked. The staff was super attentive, and the atmosphere felt like home. Can’t wait to come back!

Saw this place a few times but was scared to try it because it looked so new. Decided to finally give it a shot. Didn’t know what I should order so I asked the cashier for a recommendation and he recommended the shrimp and asada burrito. All I could do was thank the cooks and the cashier for the recommendation. Great quality and quantity at an affordable price. Can’t wait to try the Mojarra! Hidden gem for my people in Lynwood.
