Casual Chinese restaurant with a wide-ranging menu that includes lo mein, congee & roast duck.

The crispy chicken with fried garlic was absolutely delicious–perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, while still juicy and flavorful on the inside. The fried garlic added a savory, aromatic touch that really elevated the dish. It’s one of those simple but well-executed meals that keeps you coming back for more.
I also tried the crispy duck, which was just as impressive.
The skin was beautifully crisped, and the meat was tender and rich with flavor. Both dishes were cooked with great attention to detail and seasoned just right. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in getting the texture and taste spot on.
I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu

Food and service great. Honest, traditional Chinese food, good ingredients, value for money. Very good Peking Duck and roast pork, much less expensive than in “fancy” places, but actually better. Lots of multi-ethnic family groups enjoying dinner. Free chinese tea and cookies. As said, very traditional.
Had enough roasted pork left over to make a good fried rice at home.
Will definitely return.

First time visiting! Location in north Miami area. We visited with friends who are of the culture, and it was an amazing experience with tasting foods we never would have thought to stop for dinner if it wasn’t for being with friends. The building needs to be renovated, and that was the only thing we second guessed at first sight. My daughter’s and I were somewhat skeptical of staying for dinner. But, so happy we did! The restroom was clean, and that made it even better for us. (I personally hate a filthy restroom in public)
Very high traffic poured in the latter it got so I could tell it’s a very popular location. The food is supposedly the most authentic still around. Buffet style was amazing with the friends and family.
All in all, don’t judge a book by its cover. Try it, you will not regret it!

I’d say this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area—really. Excellent tasty food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The wanton soup was really good, so was the garlic bok choy and my favorite was the egg foo yung house special. We came for an early lunch on a Saturday and we cannot wait to come back!

A huge thumbs up to KING PALACE serving authentic Chinese food in the heart of North Miami. I enjoyed their salt and pepper ️ Chicken, Shrimp and Pork dishes, their BBQ Pork, Jasmine tea, and well-seasoned Bok Choy are to die for! Definitely 10/10.

Some of the tastiest Chinese in South Florida. The roasted (BBQ) dishes like the duck and ribs truly impress. I always bring out of town guests along with restaurant industry friends. I’ve been in F&B for 30 years and this place never ceases to amaze and delight.
The staff are kind and genuine and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My daughter loves Kelly and she always takes time to chat with us at the table.
I would give the food 6 stars if I could. Just keep in mind the room is rustic but don’t judge a book by its cover.

As a girl from Hong Kong this restaurant makes me feel at home. First of all the menu is in traditional chinese and i can use cantonese to communicate with the stuff, plus the internal communications between the staff were in cantonese. Moreover the food is authentic and nice I ordered the 叉油雞飯 (BBQ Pork and Soy Sauce Chicken with Rice)and it is good for a restaurant outside of Hong Kong. Will come back if i have the chance

$100 dollars for a bucket of rice and sides of orange chicken that was not orange with sesame seeds and tasted weird i swear it has to be rat or cat chopped up and breaded , they couldnt even include soda or a egg roll with our take out order- you know how you get the $40 family special that bring everything. Here everything is a la carte and not fresh! Ribs were $14 for 6 of them and old! Rice was reheated – wings were fresh- service was horrible i had to ask for fortune cookies and soy sauce/duck sauce. They poured the sweet and sour sauce on the chicken instead of separating it.my whole family got sick from eating it and the restaurant really needs to be cleaned . how can they make money but not invest in hygiene and new floors thats filled and reeks of a smell of spilled food and roaches /old carpet. I see this establishment being shut down and being transformed to a retail store. The “orange chicken in question” the dark meat inside seems to be rat as i have ate rat in another chinese restaurant in Puerto Rico before and got food poisoning so when i bit into this one my body automatically knew .

Been a favorite for years now, same wait staff that amazingly remember what you like to order. Even after moving up to Broward, still make the trek back down here for our favorites. All dishes are fresh and delicious, wish they were closer!

I ordered food on Christmas Day at 3:00 PM and did not receive it until close to 6:00 PM. While I understand it was a holiday and the restaurant was busy, waiting nearly three hours is unacceptable—especially when multiple customers were experiencing the same delay. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication and transparency. No one was honest about the actual wait time, and the person at the front taking orders was rude and unapologetic when customers asked for updates. If you are going to accept orders during holidays, there needs to be better organization and clearer communication. Customers deserve honesty about wait times so they can decide whether to place an order or not.
On a positive note, the food itself was delicious, which is the reason I’m hoping the service issues can be improved.
