I had a fried combination, large…flounder, baby shrimp, n scallops. When I say plenty of food❤️❤️❤️ fried fresh to order…hush puppies n slaw was delicious… I recommend for everyone…an u can get food, plain, salt n pepper or Cajun.

The fish was wonderful. My favorite is the Cole slaw and hush puppies. I have never had a bad experience here. My leg is hurt and they are so nice they come out get my payments. The best Togo around.

We have been here several times and had a nice time. Unfortunately this visit wasn’t so good. We called ahead to make reservations for our 10 person group to celebrate a birthday and we were welcomed (on the phone). We arrived the time in which we made the reservations and had to wait an hour to be seated. They did not take any regard to our reservations. After finally getting seated we had a waitress that was unfriendly. We were then over-charged at check-out! Our service and food were mediocre. We will be choosing another place from now on because it is no longer worth the drive to be treated this way.

I use to be regular at this place until I did not receive the teaspoon of coleslaw plastic container and I went to see the manager then the (Racist Manager) implied that I was attempting to steal the teaspoon of coleslaw that they sometimes forget in human error to place the the call-in carry out orders. That was over a year ago. I boycott and will never pay for their (Racist Management employed) food ever again.

The service was quick and courteous. The restaurant was clean. The food was basic. I felt like my fish was cooked in the microwave and some old bay seasoning thrown on top. The hush puppies were delicious. This is a great, inexpensive, close to home seafood choice for dinner but if you are a seafood lover/foodie, this is not the place for you.

This was our first visit to KOTS and it was remarkable! The fish was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp. Our waitress was pleasant and kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed. The prices are reasonable which is saying a lot now.

King of the Sea was one of the best seafood restaurants I have eaten at recently. I ordered popcorn shrimp with onion rings and slaw. Normally, at other seafood restaurants, the food is cold and dripping in grease, but here, the meal was hot, fresh, and not greasy at all. Our server was Rebecca. She was excellent. I told her that this was my first time dining at King of the Sea, and she informed me that she would see that we had a good dining experience and that she would even add an extra helping of love. She was fantastic. She checked on us several times to see if we needed anything, and she was very fast and efficient. One could tell that she is definitely a people person. Normally, I do not order dessert, but I had to have a piece of the chocolate cake with the chocolate icing. When Rebecca brought it to our table, there was a piece of cake large enough to feed 4 people. It was well worth the $5.99 it cost. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also good. The only negative item I have to mention is that the music was a little loud, but I could live with that. This was a fabulous dining experience, and I will return. Thank all of you for this wonderful experience.

Visiting from out of town, reviews and pictures suggested an experience like our favorite seafood restaurant back home. Did not disappoint. Hush puppies were perfection, all the seafood cooked and seasoned just right, even the baked potato was perfect. Definitely worth the visit.

We are never disappointed with the food or service when we visit. I always leave with a to go box because I have more than I can eat. We love fresh seafood and visit the coast often. Very good, always hot and the service staff are very friendly and helpful. Do not confuse KotS with fast food, no you don’t wait a long time, but it’s DEFINITELY NOT FAST FOOD. Relax, enjoy some hush puppies, yes they are delicious, have a coffee, tea or your favorite soft drink, and soak up the ambiance. This is old school fish camp, like your grandfather took you to. Bring the family, friends, coworkers, church group or just come with your son or daughter. It’s a great place to make a memory. Your child will ask you to bring them back again and again.
