The restaurant was clean and inviting. We got seated right away. The waitress did a great job of staying on top of things. Our food was all if good quality. We got fried oysters, shrimp and fried fish. The hushpuppies could have been better. The taste was just basic. Nothing worth noting. We did order 2 side salads with blue cheese. I can’t even begin to explain how bad the blue cheese was. It tasted like dish water or a wet cardboard box. Not to mention, it was pink… kinda weird. I would definitely change that recipe because it was pitiful. We will be back. It was a great meal for the most part.

I’m not much on fish camps but we went for my father’s birthday. He really enjoys this place and so does my grandmother. We took the whole family. Everyone had great food and plenty of food in their plates and every one was very satisfied! We all took to go plates home! Out waitress was excellent and stayed on top of everything!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing Darlene’s service was. She went absolutely above and beyond during our visit. She took every opportunity to ask us how we were doing, if we needed anything, and had such a great personality that brightened up the room. Speaking of, the look of the restaurant itself was gorgeous! I hadn’t actually been here before the remodel, so I’m not sure what it looked like before, but my friends and I were very impressed. And the food, of course, was stellar! We were all very happy with our meals and the prices are super great! I had some tasty salmon, and my friends got the ribeye and the jumbo shrimp. Now, I will say that we were eyeing the cakes as we left…next time we’ll be ordering a few slices!
P.S. You guys have the best raspberry vinaigrette I’ve ever had…and Darlene, thank you for making our night wonderful! You were absolutely amazing and we will be back!! Thank you for giving us a great experience tonight!

My first time dining at this restaurant! While coming thru late 1 evening from out-of-town, I began craving fish. I had heard of this place & this was the BEST choice ever!! My friend got senior fried, s& catfish fillet & I had the broiled s&p catfish fillet with the best sweet potato! YUM-O!! Even though I’m out of town as well, I will be going back here to eat… DEEE— LISH!!

The upsides to this establishment is that the shrimp was great, the pricing was good, the portions were large, the service was fast and the waitress was sweet. The downside was that the clam chowder tastes soapy to the point that I sent it back. The hush puppies were a little gritty, but the coleslaw was good. To me, the fried fish was okay, but nothing to write home about. Overall, I would say this is a hit or miss, depending on what you order.

Thoroughly enjoy dining here tonight. I got the Senior size fried Flounder & shrimp. Plenty of food. Came with slaw & baked potato. My wife ate the baked Salmon with a sweet potato. Hers also came with slaw. Endless hushpuppies. Didn’t even have to ask for more, they just brought them out. The service was exceptional.
The flounder was cooked just right. Fluffy. Not hard. The shrimp were tasty. And not rubbery.
The Salmon was cooked just right too. We couldn’t have been more pleased. I’d recommend.

Worst seafood I’ve ever had in my life! My mother and I wanted to enjoy a Sunday afternoon meal while we spent time together. So we tried this restaurant. First off when I called to order the person taking the order acted like they didn’t want to take the time to listen to my questions or help me with my type of order I wanted. When I finally picked it up at the restaurant, and they told me the price, I could not believe the total! Way more than what the menu online says. A whole lot more! Then when I got the food home and my mother and I opened it up and looked at it we couldn’t believe it. I had two flimsy little pieces of fried perch. If that’s what you want to call it. Hardly enough to feed a child. The fried oysters were rubbery and greasy and horrible! The only thing good about the whole plate was the baked potatoes and coleslaw. The fish, shrimp, and fried oysters, including the hush puppies, we’re the worst I have ever tasted. Will definitely never come back. And for the sake of anybody else that wants to risk ordering here, at least make the menu that’s advertised on your site match what you are actually charging people for this horrible experience.

After eagerly awaiting their reopening, I was very disappointed with the quality of almost all the food, especially my fried oysters. They were way overcooked and did not have a fresh taste. The slaw was watery. My baked potato had a black rotten spot in the middle. Waited only a few minutes for our order to be completed, but except for the sweet potatoes, all was cold by the time we drove the 7-8 minutes home. I understand why their prices increased substantially, but I don’t understand why there were only 2 fries in one box and 3 in another. Also, asked for ranch dressing that wasn’t included. I called the restaurant and spoke with Andrew and he offered 2 full orders of fries if we wanted to drive back. He was very apologetic and courteous. It appears the kitchen is where the problems need to be addressed.
