I ordered through Doordash and did a pickup order. The pickup process was simple and easy and I didn’t even have to ask for help from the staff behind the counter. I ordered the loaded chicken fries and all I can say is… The flavor of the chicken tenders, the crunchiness and sweetness of the slaw, the fries, the PICKLES…sooooo good. I have to get this again.

I can’t stop thinking about their French fries. Soooo good. Seasoned and crunchy. The fried chicken strips were really good too. Good size serving. Served with bread and pickles.

We’ve been a huge fan of KotC for years. We went there when they were at both Florida Ave locations in Tampa, and when they were in Ybor. I drove 50 minutes today to Mulberry to get our fix of a Nashville Hot sandwich. The location at Depot 303 is awesome. It’s new, clean, spacious, plenty of parking, and has a bar. BUT, totally disappointed in the food. No coleslaw or pickles on our sandwich, the bun seemed smaller, and the chicken, though it had flavor, there was no sauce on the breaded coating. The fries haven’t changed and so they were good. I’ve avoided going to Dave’s, but they’ll have to become my new go-to. So disappointed. Spent $38 for 2 small sandwiches with fries.

It’s alright, used to be better. also for an award winning chicken place they sure do love changing locations 2 trillion times in the span of a few years. don’t get used to the taste, they’d be gone within a few months to somewhere else that’s juuust too far to justify the drive

So I drove 40 minutes from Tampa to mulberry I’m a pregnant women who was craving king of the coop and was devastated by the false advertisement on the website, I even called to Verify before I drove up there no one mentioned that “king of the coop” was a totally different restaurant now! The owner had change the restaurant to chicken and pig with a totally different menu than king of the coop but advertising “chicken and pig” as “king of the coop” I’m very disappointed and the owner needs to update the website immediately so people know! even at the plaza they have the name as king as the coop still on the wall. I will say chicken and pig food is not bad but it has nothing on king of the coop and I would not have drove 40 minutes for it very disappointed….
