I’ve now ordered from this food truck 4-5 times and tried most of their menu. As someone of Indian origin, I’ll say that this maybe one of the best tasting Indian food in the entire Seattle area. Good portion size, great prices, amazingly friendly owner and his cooking is stellar. I wish you could smell the food through the photos. Don’t wait, go try this food. You’ll get addicted just as I have. Love, love, love his food!

Arrived at 5:00pm on a Monday and order a large Butter Chicken Rice Bowl (Chicken, Rice and Indo Spices) for $18.99, got a pager, waited in the car for less than 10 minutes, and the food was ready. The person at the window was very nice and friendly. You really get a great amount for what they are charging, especially in the city.
Definitely will return!

I’ve heard so much GOOD about this food truck that is still new to the Magnolia neighborhood and I finally created the opportunity to try it. I was given tastes of a salted lassi (that I will be back for – I promise!) and the chicken curry. After a great chat about the menu and food, it was decided that the chicken curry bowl and an order of samosas was the order of the night. In the short 10 minute wait, I could still feel the warmth of the curry as I collected my dinner.
The short drive home proved that all food was packed perfectly. I appreciate the way sauces were packed and that a meal was packed in a single box with dividers. All food was the temperature it should have been. The flavors were just as enjoyable as they were when I was given a taste at the food truck. Tamarind sauce was included with the samosas. There was also a garlic sauce that was included. The chicken curry has a warmth that I can’t decide if it should be called “lightly spicy” or not – the tender meat and spices stick with you in the best way possible.
I am a huge fan of Spice Waala and Roti Cuisine of India (especially pre-SLU menu for the latter). King of Taste is a great addition to that rotation of restaurants. Simple and clear menu that still has plenty of variety, a proprietor that is very proud of his food, and spices to perfection. I will be back and am SO HAPPY to have you in the neighborhood!
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and there is also an uncovered picnic table in the corner of the lot. Preorder is also available through their website.

This place surprised me. The smell just walking up I knew it was gonna be top notch and it was. Next the owner was very nice and proud of his completely healthy and organic option. This food was incredible and the amount of flavor many Indian restaurants do not deliver. Try this place

So good!!! Just got the samosas today, but will be back to try the entire menu.
The samosas were the best I’ve ever had. So perfectly crispy, a little flakey. And the stuffing was the perfect blend of flavor. Oh and the sauces were good, too. I had intended on having the spicy green one but started with the sweet one – it was so good I never tried the other one.
I live close by, so next time, I’m going to order online then walk there to pick up.
Oh one last thing, I got to sample the butter chicken sauce… divine!!!

Delicious, authentic, and fun twists on traditional Indian food flavors. The chicken tikka was the perfect meal for on the go. I also got the butter chicken with rice for dinner. To top off the whole foodie experience, I got the rose lassi -a twist on a strawberry smoothie-so smooth and delicious. The flavors and seasonings were on point and you’re getting great value for the price. The host/cook is kind, and the good vibes add to the satisfying experience this food provides.
