The kababs are perfectly grilled juicy, tender, and full of rich, smoky flavor. Every bite is seasoned beautifully, with just the right balance of spices. The grape leaves are fresh and delicious, wrapped tightly and seasoned to perfection. The grilled vegetables add a wonderful charred sweetness, and the fresh salad with lemon gives the whole plate a bright, refreshing finish.

This place is so delicious! I couldn’t stop thinking about the food long after we left. It’s authentic, tastes delicious and is very reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality of food you get. The service is on the slower side (waited 30 min for these two dishes) but I don’t mind waiting if it’s going to taste amazing as it did. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Best chicken shawarma I’ve had in denver! So tender and flavorful and the sauces complimented them so much. The mantu were so unique and delicious as well. Prices can’t be beat. Will keep coming back!

I’ve had Afghan food from all over states. I would rank this in the top 5. The chapli kebab had the right texture, sear meat vs. fat ratio. Mantu were ginormous and fell apart effortlessly. I haven’t seen kidney beans before, but it worked.
The mixed grill was 10/10. I rarely have had a mixed grill where I liked everything. We chose qabuli rice and boy what a treat! I can eat this food every day. The pricing is on point. Ya’ll are lucky to have this restaurant in your neighborhood.

OMG!!!! The flavors at this authentic gem of a restaurant are so incredibly delicious! This is my fourth time here and consistently, each time has been the same amazing mouth-watering experience. I love that it is a one-of-a-kind family-run business. Prior to coming here, I had no idea what Afghanistan food was like. Now, I can’t seem to get enough of it! Tonight, I got chicken kabobs as well as lamb kabobs. Both were out of this world! My dish came with hummus—while this might sound like an exaggeration, I can truthfully say that this is the best hummus I have ever eaten anywhere. Period. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. As you can tell, I highly recommend King of Shawarma & Kabob! I can’t wait to come back and try their shawarma.

I think this is the only Afghani restaurant in Denver. We love visiting this place for their great quality of food. They cool one of the best kebobs, and wraps in town. We love their chaapli kebob, mantu and kabuli pulao. Since they are family they seem to have some staff shortages. But the brother managing the restaurant are very polite and friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant. They are not too expensive.

We visited this place last Saturday, everything was super delicious. We tried Qabuli Pilau, Beef Shami Kabob, Chapli Kabob, Lamb Tikka Kabob, and Bolani — best Afghani taste.

The only authentic Afghani restaurant that you will find in Denver metro area. Got the Kabuli Palow for 4-5 people with the meat spread.

Portions were solid, meat was well seasoned. The chicken soup was hearty and comforting. Amazing, filling meal. Only thing is they could’ve been more generous with the grilled peppers and tomato’s because there were big portions of everything else.

Can’t wait to go back and have another massive meal here.

Omg you have to come here. Tastes authentic and homemade. Two skewers of perfectly cooked kabobs for the same price as other places charge you for one. The mantu dumplings are extraordinary. Loved the soup. Come here and support this family business!
