Big back heaven these slices are the best and always have been if you in Philly you need a slice of this in your life you can’t miss with this pizza. It’s going to be a line in here but it goes fast . I have never eaten anything else out of here so I’m not sure how the test of the food is but the pizza is heaven

This place has been around ever since I was a little kid. The ownership and quality has remained the same in all that time. Nice sized slices with their outstanding crust made them a must for if you wanted a good quick and inexpensive meal. Two slices which would be under six dollars makes for a nice lunch and early dinner. I’m sure I’m being a little sentimental, but they still make some of the best pizza in Philly IMO.

Today, I wanted pizza and I chose the “King”. Just 4 slices of beef pepperoni…to go. There was a twenty minute wait. Fine. As I waited I enjoyed the visually satisfying cadence of watching the hand tossed and stretched pizza crust prepared by one man. Not to mention there were 9 people who ordered before I arrived. Everyone was waiting patiently and quietly. The pizza sauce and toppings of cheese, beef pepperoni or ground beef were assembled with care and quickness. Then put in the oven. No frills, no cap just great pizza and service.

I’ve been coming here since I was a baby, and as of 2025, I hate to say it, but the quality has gone down. This used to be the only pizza I truly liked. I understand the brothers retired, but the next generation is letting the legacy slip. I’m not saying this to put you down, but to encourage you to do better, because the pizza has really declined.”

I may be biased, but King’s is the best pizza in Philly, if you’re looking for NY-style pizza. I have not found anything comparable. I love the taste & thin crust. I’m still on the mission of finding pizza that’s similar to this place, since they’re closed on Sundays & do not stay open late. *Family-owned establishment*

One of the best pizza places in Philly! Reminds me of New York pizza. Crispy baguette crust, and delicious sauce and cheese. Stop in some time and give them a go you’ll be pleased
