If you’re craving authentic, homemade Egyptian food full of real Egyptian flavors, this is the place to go!
I honestly can’t fully describe how delicious the food tastes it truly gives you the feeling of Egypt in every bite. I tried the moussaka, béchamel pasta, rice with kofta, molokhia, and koshari — and every single dish was absolutely amazing.
You can really taste the authenticity and the love in the cooking. Huge compliments to Chef Nadia her food is outstanding and made to perfection.
And a special thank you to Ayman, our friendly and cheerful server. He truly deserves recognition for his excellent service and warm hospitality.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Egyptian cuisine! ✨

Loved the food at King of Koshary, we went in hungry and ordered nearly half the menu. Everything came out hot and delicious. We really enjoyed the goulash with beef, the ox tail tajin, the hawashi, and the om ali. But to be honest, everything was really good.

This is the best food in DC and the surrounding area. Its so healthy; liver, beans, chicken, and tastes amazing. Fresh mango juice and finish your meal with a warm egyptian tea.

I finally got to try the Shackshuka. It was so delicious, fresh and hot out of the kitchen. The falafel was made just how I like it. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. King of Kishary is a warm and inviting place. A place that I’m definitely going to come back.

I have seen this place driving by from time to time. Last week, I gave it a try and here I am back again. It feels like being somewhere else, also, very nice staff! I tried the beef stew for dine in and today am thinking ahead and ordering for take out! Good comfort food especially for cold winter days! Meanwhile waiting
I ordered a Basbousa dessert and Turkish coffee. Prices are excellent! Atmosphere is busy but not rushed for the customer experience! Just has that vibe and feel you are in a nice everyday place but in Egypt! An experience without going across the globe right here in Northern VA.
I rate this place in good regards because they work hard, the food is good, the prices aren’t ripping you off and they appreciate one’s business along with being suggestive about foods when asked!

The food is authentic Egyptian cuisine. Fish are cooked with Alexandria recipes including grilled fish stuffed with herbs and mixed greens.
Both me and my wife went there for dinner. We spent less than any other place and walked with tons of food. We ordered Hawaeahi ( stuffed pita bread with Tahini sauce ) appetizer. Fitir with cheese, grilled fish, okra, shawarma sandwich, sweet bomb, om Ali, mango drink and mint drink. Food is beyond tasty. I highly recommend this place, food quality and taste were excellent.
