Family friendly atmosphere.
The restaurant itself did not open until 12pm for lunch, and didn’t even start serving food until 12:30pm, which was inconvenient for everyone waiting in line so long. Otherwise, good place to stop and relax for a bit.

I used to love coming here and I been going to this place for five years straight. I love the giant beers and the cocktail selections. But it’s definitely changed since then. Every time I go I give a tip especially when I order multiple drinks. They have a sign if you walk out 30% tip will be charged but what they don’t have up is that with every single drink you order a tip will be charged. I don’t like that and I personally feel like you’re stealing from your customers. You don’t put a sign for notice and you sneak the charged in. If I’m paying for mandatory tip then let me know but don’t sneak it especially for a repeat customer like myself.

Pretty cool little German town in Helen GA! They have a mountain roller coaster that you need to try… we also did a love lock, but I’m not sure I would waste your money on that as the city cuts the lock and throws it away once a week. So it is not there forever like it used to be… dissappointing.

I’d give this a higher rating if it wasn’t for the fact that the price for a pretzel read $11, and the bill for it was $14. I thought we scored a deal at this place. Unfortunately not. The pretzel was hot and delicious though. There was entertainment provided. Seemed to be playing all Beatles songs. Not sure how often they wipe the tables down though, stayed for awhile and didn’t see anyone cleaning.

Atmosphere was fun with live entertainment and the gentleman that was singing and playing the guitar was very good. My family all had bratwurst plate with sauerkraut and potatoes. Food came out fast and was very delicious I would definitely recommend for anyone in town looking for a quick bite

BE VERY CAREFUL with this place. Oktoberfest is always fun in Helen! I have always enjoyed this place for few years, and always recommended them. But this past experience wasn’t a good one. I bought 2 beers refills, 1 beer with mug, and 5 sausages. I remember seeing in the card machine around low $80s, and I was never prompted for tip on the card machine. They didn’t give me a receipt, and I left some cash as tip (as I always do). Next day, I see a charge of $96 on my card. The only explanation I have is that they added 20% tip without my consent. I did not see any sign nowhere in the establishment saying that they charge 20% on everything. If you are owner of this business, please check what they are doing on the outside bar. If you are the owner of this place, and you know this is going on, please stop it. Don’t loose the trust of your customers. If this happened to you too, please don’t stay silent.
