Their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwhiches are amazing. We’ve had our Phillys every place they offer it (I get it in remembrance of my Step-Dad) and gotta say this place ranks above Firehouse Subs which was one of my favorite places cause their Phillys are good too but here, it’s a must try if you are in town!
The Greek lady that helped us was nice too. Atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. The stuffed animals all on the ceiling makes it a very unique cozy family place as well. It made me smile.

There were 7 of us dinning there tonight. We receive our food very soon after ordering. The meat was seasoned right but a bit cold. Portions are big so we came home with leftovers.

The service was impeccable. The food supremely delicious. The fries are to die for. The burger’s were so svory and flavorful. The Gyro was scrumptious. The staff was polite and welcoming. Quick and efficient. The restaurant was clean and felt clean. The price is a bit more than your average burger joint but then again King Kong is NOT your Typical Burger Joint. Worth every penny
I wish there was a King Kong near or in Gretna.

Christmas. The cheese burgers meal or gyro meal was free per person. The line was around the restaurant and yet the manager/owner, she and the staff were working in precision clearing every order. The line never stopped moving forward. The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. All of the burgers had that wonderful grilled flavor. Excellent!

Why anyone would give this place anything but a 5 star is crazy to me. The staff is kind. The food is good. The place is clean. It’s Christmas Day and every year they give away free food. That’s amazing. In this economy they still continue to be charitable. Thank you and Merry Christmas

The biggest burgers we’ve ever had. People if you want a burger. This is the place to go. They are huge. They are delicious. They are worth every pretty penny. They are expensive. But they are huge. Leftover game is strong with this one. The lobby was vacant. Don’t know if that was because of the super bowl but we sure got fast service. Fries are amazing. Best fries. Seasoned. Crispy. Huge orders. This place is great

I like trying local places in lieu of chains. We were going to the zoo and wanted food. We got the gyro plate and the Philly steak. It was sooooo goooood. The pita was soft and pillowy, the gyro meat was tender and well seasoned, the veg was fresh, the tzatziki was creamy and delicious! The salad and fries were the sides we chose, the fries were really good (they remind me of curly fry texture and I love that!) I also love feta and calamata olives so this was a great meal, definitely recommend and will return if in the area again. What about the steak Philly? My husband ate it so fast that I think it’s safe to say that it was good too Enjoy!

First time in the area and the state so me and my wife decided to stop at a local place instead of a chain. The service was ok, atmosphere was very nice and clean. We had the gyro plate with beans and rice, which was suggested and a single Kong burger. The foods presentation was amazing. Huge burger and the gyro plate full of meat. Unfortunately I had a bad feeling about the food when I was called to get it literally less than five minutes of me sitting down. I’ll just cut it short and say everything was cold. Nothing was made fresh which was obvious from the waiting time. We’re use to kronos meat and this was not that. My wife didn’t even finish her food I barely finished mine. Doubt if we will be in the area any time soon but never again. I typically give a place the benefit of the doubt but for the price (over $40) I’d expect better quality. Or at the least hot food. I don’t mind paying for good food but this place missed the mark today. I do not recommend.

The burgers are excellent, and gigantic!!!
The hamburgers are very big and the frys are large. The cost is high, we spent over $100 for a family of 6, and the kids are 11 and under. My only real complaint which is why I gave it 4 stars, is the container of Mayo had been sitting out all day so it was warm and yellowing

Asked the cashier what was most popular, she said the gyro. So we ordered a platter, which is 18.99 and the single kong sandwich, which was I believe 11.49. Drinks were separate. I’m from the Chicago area, so if I pay that much for a burger, it better be Angus and come with fries. This was neither. It is a kong sized burger for sure, but it did not have enough flavor. It had char grilled lines but tasted like it was either a processed or low grade burger. I LOVE burgers, but this one, I could not. The condiments are self-serve in pump canisters. The mustard was runny. The gyro did not taste like Kronos, which, again, if you are from or have visited the Chicago area, you know what I’m talking about. It came with a salad and a side. We requested rice with beans, which was decent. I will not return. The other thing I want to mention is I literally ordered, went to the bathroom for at most 3 minutes, and when I came back, my husband had the food. Everything was cold, according to my husband. I was on a call, so I assumed the food had cooled off. But he said it came like that. I shoukdve just taken it all back; I suspected it wasn’t fresh for how quickly it was served. I’m truly disappointed. Especially for 50 bucks.
