Very clean and staff very welcoming. Chips were amazing as was the curry sauce. The fish was beautifully cooked but the batter went soggy on the bottom due to the containers hence why the 4 stars. Would definitely return.

Great service – polite and fast. Great value – we got two sausage suppers and mushy peas for £13. The chips were crispy but fluffy, the sausage was delicious, and those peas… I eat a lot of mushy peas and these were some of the best I’ve ever had. If we’re ever passing this way again, we’ll definitely stop past.

This place used to be great.
Totally gone downhill, soggy chips, super oily fish. Came especially to eat from afar, all of us were disappointed. Never again.

Pam oil was used and it made the food extremely sticky. I couldn’t even finish a regular fish and chips. It cost £9.50 and ended up going in the bin. Very disappointing.

Service was great but the chips were totally anemic, borderline inedible. There was no one in there besides me so not really an excuse for that. The fish was okay, but I’d really work on the chips.

Overpriced fish and chips and not very nice. Batter soggy it’s supposed to stick to the fish not fall off. For 2 large fish it was £16.00 you would think at that price it would be better than Harry Ramsden standards
