Best katsu I ever ate in Bay Area!
This place was reccomended to me by my friends but now I will be the one reccomending it to everyone I know. We came on a Saturday after lunch time and signed up on the waiting list and did not have to wait long. From the moment we stepped in, we knew it will be a great meal: we saw huge portions on everyone’s plates around us, the waitress was super nice and helped me choose between two menu items by explaining the difference between them, and the menu was pretty unique, it was printed on a place mat and not paper. We were also given miso soup which we did not expect but it was a nice touch.
Once we ordered the food, it came our super fast and it was delicious!! I don’t think I can explain in words how much we enjoyed the meal, how tasty everything was. We were given some nice sides, too.
In the end, got some ice cream.
The restaurant itself is very cozy and there is even a sign on the wall that thanks all the customers who come to this small business and are patient with the staff, and that even though inflation is a thing, rhe restaurant did not make the portions smaller and kept the same prices.
Will come back from the South Bay again, the food is worth it!

This place is exactly like what we had in Seoul but I believe the portion size of the katsu is bigger. Great selection of katsu. We shared a combo which had half portions of pork , fish and a burger with a fried egg. Perfectly prepared. Reminded me of our experience in Seoul. I need to try the korean fried chicken as well next visit. Service was excellent. Very nice and friendly.

This restaurant popped up on Google and we decided to give it a try. One ordered the King Katsu with curry. The rest had fish katsu with rice, sweet tartar sauce, cabbage salad and macaroni salad. It was all delish. I would recommend this place and will go back to try other items. This is a simple place with plastic chairs and friendly waitstaff. This is a GO! 11/19/25

I had a fantastic experience here! If you’re a fan of katsu, this place is a must-visit. They offer a great variety of katsu options, each fried to a perfect golden-brown crunch and served with sauces. We also ordered the udon and the portion was generous filled with many fish cakes. I really enjoyed the dining experience.

Staff was so nice and friendly, the portion size were enormous. My friends got the king katsu and I got the king’s combo. On top of that, we ordered the butter garlic wings. Very delicious. We were so stuffed. A couple things I gotta say is; the curry is a bit too sweet for my taste and the Mac salad needed more dressing to make it creamy and nlt dry. Other than that, still a great place for katsu.

Ordered Cheese Katsu for takeout. Portion size is great. The cheese katsu itself is not as flavorful as I thought it would be but still good. My favorite was the cabbage salad. I also liked the miso soup (mild flavor) as I am not really fan of this kind of soup. I also liked the sauce that came with the cheese katsu, just the right amount of sweet/salty/savory.

large portions, curry sauce was super flavorful!!! be warned, spicy sauce is HOTTT but delicious. the cheese in the cheese katsu gets cold very easily and is the most prominent flavor. it was good the first few bites but became less appetizing as the meal cooled and got salty from the cheese. I recommend the katsu curry, with the yummy curry sauce on the side. the breading was very crunchy and had good flavor. we didn’t care for the mac salad as it was too sweet for our taste. we will be back to try the king combo. portions and flavor makes this place super worth it. you can easily share a plate or bring back leftovers for another meal.

Tried the King Combo along with Chicken Katsu, King Katsu, and Cheese Katsu. My favorites in order:
1. Fish Katsu (part of the combo) – super good, I’d order this again for sure.
2. Cheese Katsu – the chicken wrap with cheese was a nice surprise.
3. Chicken Katsu – solid, and honestly better than the Pork Katsu.
I’d skip the hamburger steak next time.
Overall, the food was tasty. The Katsu sauce was a bit too sweet for me, but the curry sauce was much better.
Service was a little slow but very friendly, which is understandable since they just opened recently. I’ll definitely be back to get the fish again and to try the Korean chicken and cold spicy noodles.
Side note: I’d recommend the staff not serve food on the same cart they use to collect the dishes and clean tables. The cleaning supplies on the shelf of the cart made me cringe a bit.

The Katsu was HUGE, but the texture was not as impressive as the size. To make the katsu huge, the katsu was made pretty thin, and this made the breading layers overpowering the meat part.
We sit pretty close to the door. Customers kept coming in and out even though there was a wait list, and the wind kept coming in as well… Wish you could have suggested customers waiting in the car.
