I ordered food from this place which they sent to my house without any covering over the food. Was just sitting outside my house in an aluminium tray uncovered and any number of rodents could have gone in. I called the store and the guy was very rude and do not want to listen to what I had to say. He said we sent to food that’s it. It was a horrible experience and would NEVER order from here again.

Great food for cheap. The chicken sliders taste just like zinger burgers and the cheeseburgers really good too. I wish they would change the fried chicken up but even then it’s fine just not as good as other places. But overall good food for its price

Was in the area on a late Sunday evening and this was one of few restaurants that was open late. Decided to stop by and try the food. The exterior was not very inviting with a dirty street/curb/sidewalk, poorly lit parking lot, and little street lighting too. The restaurant’s interior was open, spacious, and bright (well lit). Restaurant’s dining area had several tables and chairs available, but appeared to be a bit dirty and had some wear and tear. Young gentleman behind the counter was friendly, promptly greeted, and then professionally answered my questions regarding some menu options. Gave my order and waited, which was not a very long wait time too. While waiting, several customers (appeared to be regulars) were walking in and just picking up their preordered meals/food to go. I had the King platter with fish, falafel, and chicken over rice. Fried fish was ok, not greasy, not dry, and flavorful. Falafel tasted a bit dry and felt dense. The chicken was good and the white sauce, too…of course. Spicy crispy chicken sliders were actually better than expected, especially for the cost. Had good flavor, enough spice and heat, and filling. Overall an ok experience with very good service, but wouldn’t go out of my way to get food from here.

Has this place gone downhill for anyone else? I’m not sure what’s changed, but this has been my go to halal place since 2021-2022. Have always ordered the king platter, always triple lamb (if not double w/ falafel), and typically it’s enough for 2 people if not more. Last few times we ordered, they’ve been extremely skimpy with the lamb, and it’s barely enough to fill us both up. I am willing to give you guys another chance because the rice and green sauce is better than another restaurant down the road…but for the increased prices and the decreased serving, we might have to venture elsewhere. YMMV, maybe it depends on whoever is in the kitchen.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch. Decided to have halal for lunch and they were quick to attend. I ordered the chicken over rice with half lettuce, half rice. The chicken was tender and tasted fresh with a lot of flavor. I like that the salad had peppers, onions, carrots and I believe a bit of cauliflower. The vegetables on the salad tasted like they were pickled. It gave the whole platter a fresh taste. I do wish they gave more pita bread though. They only give you a quarter of a piece but it’s so good that you end up wanting more. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great halal spot

I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious!!! The atmosphere is so homely and welcoming. Nice spot to just chill with friends and grab some quick, delicious; and filling bites. Will be visiting again soon!

Best Halal food in Deer Park. I ordered the fish over rice and it was absolutely delicious! The dish came with salad, bread and rice with extra white sauce. Personally, I prefer King Halal over Naz and Shah. Some people think that Naz, Shah and King Halal are the same. Trust me, King Hala is much delicious. I also would like to mention that you get the same taste every time you eat it.

It’s halal so that’s a plus. But NY seems to be scattered with generic chicken/lamb over rice platter places with white sauce and hot sauce.
So what makes this any different? Nothing. That meat definitely comes from the same wholesaler as every other halal gyro place.
