I have been coming here for 15 years. It is the best Chinese food in town- hands down. The bourbon chicken is absolute heaven and the portions they give you are HUGE! Thank you King Dragon for always making your food with such amazing flavor and love. Highly recommend!!!

Driven past it 10 years decided to try it because the Chinese Restaurant near my home is horrible. King Dragon wildly exceeded expectation on my first order of Black Pepper Chicken. Chicken bites with tasty with good amount of pepper accompanied by square cut green pepper and onion bites which were cooked leaving a little bite. The sauce was excellent. On my second visit I ordered the coconut chicken. It’s good on its own but I added some Thai Curry paste I had in the fridge and it was even better. Got the cold sesame noodles for lunch tomorrow. It’s been 20 years since I found a Chinese takeout that made them. Only $6! King Dragon is now my favorite hole-in-wall Chinese takeout. The only thing that could make it better is if was by my house. Still it’s worth the drive.

Let me start off by saying that I had extremely low expectations for this place, however, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The lady working the cash register was friendly, food was hot and fresh, portion sizes were more than generous and the prices were super cheap. This isn’t fine dining by any means, but a great go to for Chinese take out..General Tsos chicken, egg rolls, and Pad thai were great. Will be back..

Unfortunately the food was so salty I only ate about 1/4 of my order. It could have been very good without the excessive sodium because the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. Same with the fried rice.Egg drop soup was hot and not as over salted as the other items but still salty enough that I noticed. I can always add more soy sauce or salt but not remove it. I’ll give them another try and specify they ease up on the sodium before I decide not to order from King Dragon.

The food here is quite bland. Had shrimp fried- and chicken fried rice. Had peppered steak. Had crab rangoon. Each meal tasted like the cook was hesitant to season the food. Even the soy sauce packets they have are like water. The steak in the peppered steak was a couple days past prime, needs to be thrown out. The crab rangoon filling was good but the ‘pastry/breading’ they use is too thick and tough. Needless to say, I’ll be going back to the Chinese food place on County Line Rd, across from Greenwood Park Mall–best Chinese food in Indy!!

I asked for a large black pepper chicken and got more onions than chicken when I told them about it they didn’t want to do anything about it, also extremely bland… if I would have known I was getting a plate of onions I wouldn’t have ordered anything. Really disappointing

Just got a huge portion of egg fried rice. Wok hei (breath of the wok) is delicious here. Rice had lots of flavor. I got steamed dumpling too which is delicious. Was very fresh and good, thank you king dragon.
