Came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t particularly busy. We were seated immediately and our waiter was efficient and attentive.
I ordered the hurricane and it was a delicious drink. As for starters, we ordered the crawfish dip and it came with tortilla chips. We were expecting fried chips (as the picture show) but that wasn’t received. The dip itself was decent but it’s not something I would order again.
For mains, we went with a seafood boil (crab legs, shrimp, and added sausage and mussels). We decided with a mix of flavors and kept it mild. Overall, the boil was ok – I wouldn’t recommend the mix of flavors and stick to just one. The seafood did seem fresh, though. We also ordered a fried combo basket with catfish and wings. I did enjoy this dish and would recommend the catfish.
Overall, we had an ok meal but I doubt we’d return. Try it out for yourselves!

The food was very fresh. I ordered fried fish it had an awesome crust and the pieces were very large for the price. The hushpuppies were phenomenal. The only improvement for me was the lack of seasoning on the fish. Which I can live with. Its nothing a little hot sauce cant fix. The service was great. Although I ordered to go, the atmosphere seemed nice. Might try a dine experience with my fiancé.

My hubby took me here for Valentine’s lunch and it was so good! And a great price! We splurged on King Crab which had a very competitive price. And our server was so sweet! He seemed to be excited that we were here on a date and was just very focused on making sure it was a good one! I wish I could remember his name because he deserves a raise for his level of service!

Stopped here with my daughter because this was in the area we were shopping at. It was not crowded when we walked in Sunday around 6pm. Seated and served quickly. Waitstaff was friendly and the facility was clean. Food presentation was nice and the portion was decent for the price. Flavor wise the food wasn’t the best I have had for boils or gumbo nor the worst. It was just average. If your looking for an something quick quick and not too overly priced in your neighborhood if your in Grand Prairie then this would be in option but I would not travel long distances from further away cities just to eat here.

Not a very good first impression. My seafood boil was cold and lacking in flavor. Although, I was pleased with the portion size and pricing. The facility and bathrooms needed to be cleaned. They have plenty of seating. We had a large party and were only allowed for 4 separate checks. I didn’t like that we were given no other option.

The flavors of most dishes were spot on—the Cajun fried rice was well-seasoned, the shrimp roll had a satisfying crunch, and the garlic bread was a comforting side. However, the fried catfish basket was a major disappointment.
Instead of catfish, what was served appeared to be basa or swai, which is not an acceptable substitution, especially for those who appreciate the distinct taste and texture of real catfish. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, the response lacked the level of concern I expected from a seafood restaurant that prides itself on quality.
I sincerely hope King Crab House takes this feedback seriously and ensures that menu items are served as advertised. For catfish lovers like me, this is a dealbreaker. I’d love to return and explore more of their menu, but consistency and authenticity matter—and if that’s not maintained, they risk losing loyal seafood fans.

The food did not taste good at all! It was not fresh and the seasoning did not taste like seasoning! We only ate it because we hadn’t ate that day. We didn’t even eat it all.

First timer, and I must say they did not disappoint! Our server is said she is normally a bartender but she was a natural when it came to serving. She made great menu suggestions and recommendations. She was busy but stayed attentive and polite.
The food was seasoned really well and served smoking hot and timely! The cocktails did not let me down either. I was pleased with my experience and will visit in the future.
I would however advised management to be more cleanly with the restrooms.

First time going and we got the seafood boil with crab legs, muscles, and shrimp. We got the house special seasoning with medium spice level and it was so good! It had so much flavor! The service was also on point! We will definitely be going back.
