GROSS. Got this place for the first time and NEVER again. ordered bourbon chicken and it didn’t have ANY sauce??? Literally just oyster sauce on the side? Im not sure what this is but it certainly isn’t like any bourbon chicken I’ve had in the past. $11.50 for this and I couldn’t even eat it it was so dry!

Please hear what I am saying when I say it is not worth it!!!!! The food wasn’t seasoned and I was all around disappointed with thier food. I read the reviews after I ordered. Lesson learned. Worst parts were the brown rice witch was gooey and just tasted horrible. Sweet and sour sauce was runny and uhh. Almost 55.00 and extremely disappointed. Everyone eating agreed. I use to order from here all the time but since coming back to Phoenixville just horrible!!!

The chicken fried rice sucked. Zero flavor and dry. Seems like the chicken was just boiled to hell and thrown over some rice. However, the beef broccoli was decently good.

I ordered Mapao tofu and house fried rice. The fried rice was hard. It was terrible. The sauce for Mapao was too sweet. The tofu didn’t smell fresh. I have ordered many times and the food was excellent. The restaurant must have changed ownership because the quality of food is not the same.

Seriously…frozen steamed dumplings? Instead of the old hand made dumplings with a thicker dough, I think they are using the “frozen gyoza” sort of dumplings that you can find in any frozen section of a grocery store or Asian grocery store. I suspected this place had changed hands because I noticed differences in the food, but this is the last straw for me on the quality change. I won’t be back.

Be careful what you order because the prices are different from the menu and online advertised. New owner took over and the prices went up but they are still using the old owners menus instead of making new menus. I do not know if this is a gimmick or lazyness on their part. The food is good, but don’t over charge me. You can go down to Staples and they can probably work with you for a discount, hopefully.

I have ordered from King Chef for years. Never had an issue. Tonight, my order was missing the chicken. Literally had shreds of chicken and the rest broccoli. My husbands order was significantly smaller than usual and the delivery took forever. I don’t know what has changed but the cost is not worth the poor quality.
