Very nice selection for lunch buffet. Egg drop soup is my daughter’s favorite dish here. Crete, Ne has only a handful of restaurants, so it’s nice to find a chinese restaurant here with an all u can eat buffet.

Have you ever felt yourself getting sick from food poisoning?
I have no idea why this place is highly rated. This was a waste of money, a waste of time and I regret coming here.
The hot tables were more like luke warm tables and the food coming from them was just barely warm.
All of the food was slimy and probably sitting out for hours. That’s how it tasted at least.
The veggies were soggy and not crisp, the meat was funky and my favorite, teriyaki chicken looked more like red cardboard.
There were children going in and out of the kitchen.
When I walked in, the worker said, “how many?”, dropped off the menu and said “what to drink?” That was all of the interaction until I paid to leave.
There were handwritten signs everywhere and the place just gave me a gross feeling.
I don’t recommend this place.

Not as good as other places ive tried but then again we went right after lunch which means the food gets left out a little longer since theyre not busy. Although, their coconut shrimp is way better than most places I’ve been to. Pretty much same layout. Buffet and dessert bar. Wish they had fried shrimp but oh well. I do want to come back on a busy night!

Been to King Buffet in Crete, Nebraska many times. Since it’s 13 miles west of US Highway 77 that goes north and south, from Texas to USA/Canada boarder, any truckers or business travelers that need a bite to eat, and have a craving for Chinese, King Buffet is a good Chinese buffet.

I’m from California and stopped by this spot while on a road trip through 20+ states. Honestly, the food was really good for the price. I’ve tried over 50 Asian places on the road—most were way overpriced—but this one definitely stood out. Highly recommend!

This place is literally a hole in the wall spot, but I thought to give it a chance since it was highly rated on Google. We arrived around 530pm. When we walked in, there was one family there – just as I was about to walk out, I was greeted from the back of the establishment by a gentleman. We were quickly seated, so I decided to stay. As I approached the buffet, I noticed the some of the food had not been replenished so I asked for the staff to add more. The burners must not have been turned up as some of the food was cold which made me go back to get a different selection as the staff went in the back to get more food, I supposed, but disappeared from view. The selections were very limited and the quality of the food was less than desirable. In my opinion, the only items worth the $12 price was the rice pudding and the Chinese donuts. I am sorry, but this place did not live up to the hype at all.
