Very nice setting. Great country feel. The onion rings were great. We ordered a breakfast plate which was very good. Got the fish which was good. The French fries I did not care for. Overall everything was great and the service was very good.

I’ve stoppef in a couple of times now to this southern food restaurant. I had the chicken fried steak with turnip greens and mashed potatoes. Not many places do greens very well but they were great and the rest was very good. Today I had the cheeseburger and fried. Great comfort good. If you’re looking for something better than fast food is a great place to eat. And the staff is always easy to talk to.

Stopped here for breakfast while traveling through and had a great experience. Service was fast and food was great. I got the huevos rancheros and my husband got the country boy breakfast. If we’re ever passing back through we’ll stop again.

There is almost no better place for a family mom and pop resturant. The staff remember your name, your family, they make small talk when acceptable, accommodate for children (ie not putting hot drinks in front of them, asking if its okay to put food in front of them) alowing special requests apart from the menu. Service has always been fast even when busy, ive never had a bad experience only strong coffee, friendly staff and great food.

Best chicken fried steak in Texas. Great flavor and so tender that you can cut it with plastic fork. Sometimes you may get cold mashed potatoes, but they are still good.

Such a cute little cafe style diner. Which serves the best chicken strips you’ll ever have.
The chicken strips are hand battered along with their onion rings, chicken fried steak, and catfish!
I ordered the breakfast platter, which was delicious and filling. I recommend adding the ham for the extra cost.

Pancakes were stale, sausage was actually pretty good. Got some dirty looks from a couple of locals for being a mixed family. Saw and heard microwaves being used in the kitchen, that’s never a good sign

Traveling through and stopped here for breakfast. Great service, strong coffee, very clean inside, plenty of seating, very reasonable prices, and good food! Loved the bar area, with the added step to rest your feet! I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns and everything was great! The pancakes could have been a little fluffier, though. Great menu selection, too. Keep it up!

Delicious! Had the basic two egg breakfast. Home fries were great. Not greasy at all. Eggs were scrambled well. Bacon was thick cut and tasty. Coffee was great for the price. Staff was friendly and masked. If you’re passing through as I was, I would definitely recommend!
