The food was incredible. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavour, and you can tell the ingredients are top quality. Each dish felt thoughtfully put together and beautifully presented. It’s one of those places where you’re already planning what you’re going to order next time before you’ve even left.
The staff were attentive, friendly and made the whole experience feel special without being over the top. Service was smooth, relaxed and professional.
Definitely one of the best spots in Brighton – can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing food and a lovely atmosphere
There is a kid friendly menu which in my opinion could do with some improvement. The main menu is very good. We ordered, courgette & Feta fritter served with a Tzatziki sauce (OMG) and had sirloin on the bone to share with sides of creamed spinach and skinny and sweet potato frites. For sauces we had peppercorn and chimichurri (amazing). Taste of the food was absolutely devine. Thank you Chef .
It’s well worth the visit and we will definitely revisit when we are back in Brighton.
Really well priced and amazing steaks. Friendly, knowledgeable, service.
A London chain had opened up nearby. In London, they’re a no brainer. In Brighton, go local and independent.
Open kitchen, the counter seats are fun, the chefs serve you if you’re sat there. Nice wine list. Well priced by the glass.
My only very minor issue was that the delicious fresh bread was cold, maybe if it had been warmed a little that would have been perfect. The corn ribs were the best I’ve ever had, really tasty!
The steaks were cooked perfectly, the accompanying sauces were absolutely spot on, and the sides were out of this world! We had creamed spinach and macaroni cheese with my wagyu and my wife’s sirloin, the perfect amount to share.
The cocktails were really good too, so if you’re in Brighton and you fancy a great steak in a lovely place with a delicious cocktail, this is the place for you!
The Sunday Roast menu has a sharing roast for two, unfortunately there is no flexibility offered or alternative single roast option. The solution offered was to order a separate steak and additional sides, but the sides on the menu were not roast sides so the three of us ended up ordering Mac and cheese as an additional side and begging them for an additional Yorkshire pudding, which they obligated.
