Rude. Indignant. Disgruntled. Irritated.

I was rushed at every step of the ordering process. I approached the counter for to give my order. One burger with cheese. He wrote it down then turned around and said “it’ll be ready in a minute.” I wasn’t done ordering so I said “also sone tequila lime fries” same thing, “it’ll be ready soon”. I still wanted to order a drink so I said “and also a small soda” he got very agitated and asked in the rudest way, “Will there be anything else?” as if I was an inconvenience and interruption to their day.

Food comes out and it’s in a to go bag. It was for here.

No fry sauce? they always give fry sauce when I order fries. Then he goes in the back and I can hear him talking about me in the back so I went over to ask for fry sauce and could still hear him talking about me so I confronted him to give my side of the story and he lies and says he wasn’t talking about me. I clearly heard you complaining about me and you lied and said you were talking about your shift. Sure buddy. Wish I got your name to call you out here. You should not be working in customer service. You wouldn’t even ring me up lol, had one of your coworkers do that for you.

I don’t usually eat this type of food, but today I went for the first time because I’d heard the sandwiches were really good. However, my experience today was terrible because of the cashier who served me. I arrived with the best attitude, but he had no patience to take my order. He got annoyed by every question I asked, and it was my first time ordering there, so I had a lot of doubts. I asked him if the sandwich came in a combo meal, and he treated me like my question was stupid. I didn’t know the combo meal didn’t include fries, and he didn’t say anything even though I asked for fries. Honestly, he seemed bitter, and I was the one who paid the price for it. I’ll definitely not be coming back. Unfortunately, I don’t know his name; I only know he’s a young man with blue eyes.

Chain Resteraunt with counter service. I had the brisket sandwich for $16. No sides just sandwich. The size was large the brisket was very tender and generous portion. On the down side: my bread was cold and refrigerator cold as opposed to room temperature but detracted from sandwich. Nobody wants an ice cold bun. Second issue, the use of mayonnaise on the sandwich. How does bbq and mayo complement each other? How about the mayo sucks the flavor out of the sandwich. Third issue my sandwich had a massive slab of fat. Typically the brisket is cooked with enough fat to keep it juicy during the long cooking but I sure didn’t want to be served so much pure fat which translates to poor trimming of the brisket. Too bad as the brisket was tender and had a nice crust and could have been a great sandwich

**Review of Kinders BBQ – Martinez, Center Ave**

⭐☆☆☆☆

I recently had the misfortune of dashing from Kinders BBQ on Center Ave in Martinez, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I used to love this place; it was known for its quality, quantity, and flavor. However, it seems that those days are long gone.

Let’s start with the baked beans, which were a complete disaster. They were covered in what seemed like an attempt at cheese, but all it did was mask the fact that the beans were dry, hard, and utterly inedible. Who actually puts cheese on baked beans? To make matters worse, they were dominated by a metallic tasting canned tomatoes, leaving me questioning how this could even be served to customers.

Then there were the ribs. I expected tender, meaty goodness, but what I got was ribs with very little meat on them. The meat that was there was chewy and undercooked—definitely not what you want when you’re craving BBQ.

As for the chicken, it was a tiny, shriveled leg and thigh that looked like it had seen better days. To my absolute horror, there were places where it was raw. How can a restaurant serve something so undercooked? It’s beyond me.

After spending over $60, I ended up throwing my meal away. I can’t express enough how disappointing it is to see a restaurant that once set the standard for BBQ quality now languishing at the bottom of my list. It’s truly disheartening. I won’t be returning, and I would advise anyone considering dining here to think twice. Save your money and your appetite—Kinders BBQ has lost its way.

Full stamp card? GFYS. We don’t honor stamp cards anymore. That’ll be $23 for a basic sandwich and a side of fries. No beverage.
There is NO VALUE left in Kinders.
Shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, mayo, and barbeque sauce. Taco bell offers more toppings and condiments.

I’m paid 25$ for this ? a couple pieces of meat, a small chicken leg and a half a hotdog is this a kids plate? Chipotle decided to pull back on their portion sizes and it destroyed their reputation.

This is one of the best food in the Bay Area. The staff are great. The food are excellent fresh. I see some of the comments from other customers just if you don’t like this place just don’t go there less problem for everyone. And I don’t think they need a customer like those guys. Five star to you guys

Well, this was my first time eating here and I was not disappointed. I went in around 7:30 PM there was no wait, I went with the three meat combo ribs/Chicken 1/4 and ball tips. I got roasted veggies and potatoe salad. I loved it all except my veggies, and I’m someone who eats his veggies. I think it had to do with it being the end of the night. Their sauces are on point (not that the meat needs any) . Definitely worth checking out if you are ever in the area

If you’re looking for a classic bbq spot, this is truly not one of them. The ribs were super dry and are just sitting under a heat lamp, that does not keep the meat moist at all. The ball sandwich, the meat was microwaved (in front of our eyes) and just drowned it in mayonnaise and bbq sauce to keep it moist. The only highlights was the bbq sauce (what they’re known for) and the above average potato salad. I would not come back here after I saw the cafeteria style cooking to prepare our food.

Went for lunch and it did not disappoint. We had excellent service and the sandwiches were great.

This is my ball tip sandwich after five bites taken out. And the same sandwich after dinner – more than half off it is remaining
