Kind Brew has become my go-to coffee shop since moving to Roanoke a few weeks ago! The owners are absolutely wonderful people, and you can tell that they take pride in their work and community. They offer sooooo many flavors, and many different drink options. Their breakfast sandwiches are good, too. Ask about their passport card, it’s helped me try drinks I’d never have thought to in the past, and each one has so far been uniquely delicious. I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every beverage I’ve had, but the standouts have been the banana bread latte and pink chai latte. Oh and definitely try the dirty sodas, those are some cool drinks! There’s a fun reward too, where you can pick out a free cookbook with every purchase. They feature a number of local artisans’ products for sale in their shop, and it’s super cozy inside with a little fireplace, comfy couch, and the best vibes. Not only the best coffee/beverage shop, but also gift shop and hangout spot!

My girlfriend, Nicky, and I visited this lovely shop for the first time today. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and inviting. We had the pleasure of meeting Kirsten, the owner, and enjoyed chatting with her about the tea shop while we relaxed with our drinks and food.

I had a Banana Nut Bread iced latte along with a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, while Nicky enjoyed a lemon lavender iced tea and a spinach and egg bagel. Everything was delicious and well worth the modest price. Kirsten and her staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and they offered several options for how our food could be prepared.

While waiting, we also enjoyed browsing the beautiful items from local artists that are displayed throughout the shop. It was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Support local businesses!

Quite the cozy small shop that has a lot of wonderful drinks and small snacks. I loved the “dirty sodas” such as the tropical one with orange milk that taste sweet and delicious. The sausage bagel I got was fresh and tasty. I was quite surprised by amount of items, teas, books, crafts, and merchandise they offer too. The employee I met was super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I would definitely make the trip again to this over Starbucks.

My wife and I moved in the area recently, and Kind Brew came highly recommended by some locals so we decided to check them out. I am very glad we did, because we both got coffee, and it was excellent. My caramel macchiato was smooth and very flavorful without being too sweet, basically perfect. The owners were also super friendly, not only crafting us great beverages, but they also let us ask a ton of questions about the area, including some recommendations for other places to check out. We ended up talking so much that we needed additional beverages for the road, so we both tried a dirty soda, and it was also delicious. 10/10 would recommend Kind Brew. Both the beverages and the staff were phenomenal!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Kind Brew Coffee & Tea House on Electric Rd
Cozy spot, friendly owner, and a great place to support local. If you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s worth stopping by. This is the Lavender Tea latte Btw. I also recommend the Wild Monkey with chocolate iced latte!

Wouldn’t recommend this for a sit down. Coffee to go or on Doordash is cheap, they have good deals running.

Paid $15 for a coffee flight, it listed several lates and a matcha for the drinks. When it came, it was iced. 4 4oz coffees and at least an ounce of that is now ice. I specified I expected it to be hot, since my friend got asked iced or hot and ordered hot and the sign literally has late and matcha on it. No mention of ice. She said, “well it’s iced because you’re expected to drink it fast.” Which made no sense cause I drink hot things way faster than iced. She then added that “next time” I can just order it hot and they’ll make it hot. Then why not ask me when I order it if that is an option? For the prices they have listed I could have gotten 3 of the 4 drinks at a 12oz for the same price. Their specialty lates are 5.50 each. So for 12oz of drink I had to pay $15 and now 4 oz of that is ice that waters the drink down? I also didn’t want iced coffee on such a cold day. No offer to remake, no discount, just told to come back and order it hot next time.

Absolutely will not return.

It was cold in the seating on the couch since it’s right by the door and I was freezing from drinking the iced coffee as fast as I could to avoid ice melting and slow enough to avoid brain freeze.

Also for seating there’s only 3 short stools at at small window facing table, a large couch facing a TV playing obscure shows, and a small table in the corner. The other table looked interesting to sit at but it’s right in the middle of traffic so it would be impossible to sit an enjoy your coffee there.

I’ve seen they have great deals online, so to go is probably your best bet for this spot. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the hot drink my friend ordered was good. So the hot coffee is good, you just gotta make sure when you order they don’t opt to make it iced for you randomly?

I stopped by this coffee shop today on my way home from work. It’s an adorable little shop that also sells some local crafts. I got a hot campfire marshmallow latte and it was perfect. I like to support local shops and was so glad I stopped in. The coffee was smooth with no bitter taste like I’ve gotten at the big chain coffee shop. I’ll be back.

Such great locally roasted coffee! The shop is so cute and cozy, as well as the owners are testament to the name- genuine and kind.

Preface it that there are no other good quality coffee shops around (have tried many) maybe ok on the well-known chain but always a hit or miss, would much prefer this high quality coffee & service.

Cute and quirky place with some cute gifts from assorted local folks, tasty coffee and a friendly person at the till.

We got some bagels with cream cheese that were tasty, along with hot cocoa, busy bee iced latte ( oat milk, local honey and espress)

Food was prepared quickly, and the vibe was pleasant. I’ll happily return.

I absolutely love coming to Kind Brew, the atmosphere is relaxing and the drinks are superior. Some of the best Chai I have ever had. You can tell that everything they make is made with love and thought. The gifts and trinkets in the store support local buisnesses. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for real ingredients and kind service.
