One thing I really appreciate is that they serve halal food and offer halal beef items, which makes it a good choice for people looking for halal dining options.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The service was quick, and the food tasted fresh and satisfying. A nice place to visit if you want to enjoy Indian flavors while exploring San Francisco.
Our favorite was the pani puri shots, chicken 65, MVP Pizza, BBQ Ribs, Chicken Tikka Masala and Biryani. The Biryani had a bit more masala than rice but it was still delicious!
And the naan – best ever – so hot and fluffy!! Amazing end to a long touristy day here in Bay City!
Everything was so good so we decided to give dessert a try and I am so glad b/c fheir Gajar ka Halwa reminded me of Karachi! So so so good!
Their menu offers a diverse selection of enticing options. We sampled the dum biryani, the Bombshell Burger, and the curry-topped MVP Pizza, all of which were outstanding. For dessert, we enjoyed the fusion appetizer, Kanafeh Rasmalai, which provided the perfect conclusion to our meal.
A few other highlights worth mentioning:
* The place is clean, including the washrooms, which I greatly appreciate.
* The staff members are very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
* I also appreciated their efficient online system for ordering and payment, which made the entire process seamless.
The only potential drawback is the limited street parking due to the busy neighborhood, so it is advisable to plan accordingly if you are driving.
We ordered the mix grill platter, and it came out sizzling hot with amazing aroma. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and Their naan is not to be missed too soft, buttery, and the perfect combo. And the biryani right after was fragrant, flavorful. Also tried the mango lassi and chicken boti, both delicious and beautifully served.Ended up with their famous Faluda
The presentation is top-notch, and the service is very accommodating. Overall, such a delightful dining experience!
Tandoori Fish was really tasty (I am not a big fish person but I really enjoyed it) no fishy taste. Lamb chops are a must and the cheesy garlic naan was almost like a mini pizza.
Would recommend for a nice halal place to eat. They also had a prayer spot downstairs.
This is downtown SF so make sure you go early to find parking (it’s a pretty popular area with lots of food spots so parking is very tough) there are two parking garages however they are flat fees of $30+, we were lucky to drive in circles until we got street parking. Again just go early to ensure you can find parking or if you are okay parking far and walking.

We had a wonderful meal at Kinara. It was less fusion than we were expecting, but super flavorful dishes. Highly recommend the appetizers — we thoroughly enjoyed the pani puri shots and the cauliflower Manchurian (warning ⚠️: it is spicy! ️). The gulab jamun was also really flavorful and not cloyingly sweet like I’ve experienced in the past. Personally we found the green lantern chicken a little dry (although fine with the dipping sauces) and the curry for MVP pizza a less curry-forward that we expected (but not bad by any means). The pricing is very reasonable and every dish was very flavorful. A lot of tables near us were ordering the fire fries, which we’ll have to order next time we visit. I would also guess that their curries are really good.
Slightly lower marks for the service since it was a bit slow to begin with, but once we ordered the food came out very quickly.
This is a hidden gem dinner option to add to the rotation.
