Friendly and home feeling. Pretty fast service, clean and very good selection of tried and true foods with a dash of something you haven’t seen at other restaurants in the area. The shrimp spring rolls were very mid 3.7/10 had a lot of lettuce (shrimp, one basil leaf, lettuce ) peanut sauce was really good! spicy ️ tray was delicious. The A15 fried shrimp and sometimes else was the show for the appetizers! Highly recommend 8.9/10 and the fried chicken spring roll was 8/10 great! The pho was very good on the sweet side but super flavorful! I didn’t get the name of my seafood & ground pork soup with tomato base. I enjoyed it I did ask for egg noodles in the Ep10 soup I think it normally comes with rice noodles. Overall great soups! Would come back and you should try it! Total for everything 59.01 we also had a beer Hanoi and it was pretty good light beer

My partner and I love this spot! Anytime we’re able to go, we make the drive to High Point to eat here. The foods amazing, the Thai tea is delicious, and the staff is always very nice. The food comes out super fast and they let us know if any items take any items will take a bit longer, so communicative and the foods great quality! A favorite for us.

I ordered from this Thai restaurant through Uber Eats for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! I got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and mango sticky rice for dessert. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice — flavorful without being overpowering. The pineapple added a nice touch of sweetness that balanced everything out beautifully.
The mango sticky rice was the perfect finish — sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of savory. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

This place is one of my favorite spots—everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The Khao Piak is super comforting, and I can’t get enough of the Blanket Shrimp and Fried Tofu—they’re always perfectly crispy and flavorful. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel right at home, and the vibe in the restaurant is really cozy. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who loves great Thai or Laotian food.

Updated Review: stopped in for a lunch special takeout on 2/20 and this is the second time we’ve had a very small amount of food. I’m not sure I will return. They have good food but it’s not worth the money at this point for 6 pieces of tofu, a little vegetables and tons of rice. Ordered the drunken noodle lunch special the month before and same story, very small amount of food.

Kin Thai has consistently great food! I usually stop by at lunch for take out but on this latest order, my friend got Door Dash delivered from there. They gave us a good amount of food, especially the pad thai! Their pad thai is great, it’s got a kind of sweet flavor to it (probably from tamarind) and the crispy chicken paired extremely well with it. My friend had never had their food before and said it was some of the best pad Thai ever.
One of my favorite dishes is the Pad Woon Sen or clear noodle stir fry. Their appetizer sampler is a great assortment and has spring rolls, crispy shrimp rolls, chicken wings and crab rangoons. My friend loved the Thai iced tea.
My sister eats a gluten free diet and she visits Kin Thai often as they have a special gluten free menu and can make many items gluten free. They are reliable so if you’re gluten free I would definitely trust them.

One of the best Thai places in NC! The pineapple fried rice is probably one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. Actually use real pineapple or at least not the cans of Dole like other places use. The ginger dish was perfectly flavored and not overly salty like other restaurants as well. Will definitely be back.

Yep!!!! This the one. This. Is. The. One! Until somebody put me on game, this is the best SE Asian restaurant in NC. From here, to Asheville, back to Charlotte, Raleigh, and Wilmington! I had given up on boat noodles in NC but this is the best I’ve had looking over the last 10-15 years. They have to be some kind of Lao cause I’ve never had Thai spices that hit like this. But I didn’t get to ask as I was just passing by. Everything on point. I will say, their pad Thai was good but not impressive. But that is not a real or authentic Thai dish so that is a non factor in this review! If you looking for good pho and boat noodles, this is the place to come! Last but NOT LEAST, their service was awesome. We called and they were basically closing up shop, but they took out order and sent us away knowing they were absolutely happy to have us!

Last few times we ate here, we got our Pho to go. Each time, the ingredients felt a bit skimpy. Each time felt like less and less. I get that cost are rising, but I thought the price going up would gover that… Otherwise, the food is usually amazing each time we go. The last time was a miss, but we’re hoping it’s just because how busy it was. Amazing customer service though. We plan to try a few more times.
