I was in town as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, and I’m glad I stopped in for a treat.
I was there around 11am on 10-10-25 so shout out to the staff who recommended the iced ginger peach tea. It was great!
Very large and clean restroom, lots of various seating inside and out (for amazing views outside). There weren’t many food items left, so I didn’t pick up any pastries this time.
While there isn’t a lot in downtown, it is a nice wander. Look forward to coming back someday!

Warm Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie + Drip Coffee (black) = HEAVEN! I’m a hobby baker, and I’m usually disappointed when I order sweet treats out. This cookie, however, was exceptional. She warmed it for me, and it was the perfect combo of crunchy and gooey. The combination of the three different chocolates was SO delicious. I will be dreaming of this cookie for weeks!
My hubby had the cheesecake, which he said was also delicious.
The vibe is very cool— modern but cozy. They have super comfy couches and chairs with lots of games to play. Large Bar with draft beer. The whole place was spotless— not a speck of dust in there, and the bathrooms were super clean!
Staff was so friendly, and prices are great!
This is a new favorite spot when we ride the Cherohala Skyway or The Dragon. I can’t wait to go back and try other pastries and menu items.
I pray this place continues to thrive in this small town… what a GEM! Thank you, Kin, for an EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant experience today! Can’t wait to come back!

Great hidden gem in the mountain towns near the Smoky Mountains! I ordered a sesame bagel and chai latte. Really good! The whole place is super clean and it changes into a bar/stage at night! So cool.

Owners are great and the coffee/food are delicious! It’s a great spot to stop at if you are in the area. We come back every time we are here!

We found this cute little café during our travels while searching for a place with gluten free items offered. The lattes were hot and delicious, but the gluten free pastries were noticeably dry, in short supply, and quite small for the asking prices.
As a former baker who has worked in a café that offers traditional and gluten free pastries, this was a disappointment. The atmosphere was relaxing, the building and restrooms clean, so we would still recommend.

REALLY good coffee & tea. Good atmosphere, strong Internet, and they have table top games to enjoy.
There is a stage for live music & have a nice draft beer selection.
Great cafe for Robbinsville. My only suggestion would be vegan food options, but (it’s Robbinsville ) that won’t stop us from visiting.

Back to Robbinsville and waiting out the rain and messy roads. If things clear I’m going to drive the Tail of the Dragon today. Might as well since I’m up here! In the meantime, checking out Kin coffee shop in town, just behind the courthouse. Nice new place, tons of room, good coffee and snacks. Cappuccino for me, since I had breakfast in Tellico Plains.
this is a fabulous place, new looking, well appointed a d comfortable. Coffee was excellent and they were making new goodies the whole time I was there! Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

What everyone else said. A destination environment that draws diverse folks to finely brewed beverages. Professional coffee makers produce your fresh cup of drip coffee on order – no giant insulated coffee vessels here. Ronnie should be proud of y’all.

Nice friendly folks with good food and coffee. An eclectic choice of Bavarian style beers in bottle and tap. We had breakfast with wonderful drip and expresso coffee and bagels. looks like a fun night spot in a small town.

I just love Kin Cafe, and feel fortunate that I live just 5 minutes away. Their coffee drinks are fantastic, and they also serve beer and wine in the evening, which is perfect for our monthly book club nights!
