I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as a new restaurant until I found out that it is their SECOND location which means they are experienced at this. I called and placed an order for pickup after several days of trying and was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes, I gave them 20. I arrived and stood in a long line for 27 minutes only to be told that my order was not placed “because we’re busy!”
I was unwilling to wait any longer as the lobby was full of people already waiting for their food and the drive thru was in the street.
Now that I know they also own the restaurant on the corner of 11th and Fannin, I will not be returning because the quality of their food diminished after being open awhile with old grease, over fried food, non-seasoned shrimp, etc.
Update: 3/11/26: I wanted to be fair so I gave them another chance. I ordered the 20 piece boiled shrimp with potatoes, corn and I paid additional for a sausage. As previously stated, it was unseasoned AND they failed to include my sausage. And THIS time, the lobby had no one but the drive thru had ONE ahead of me do the crowd was NOT a factor this time.

So this is a little long but I am highly disappointed. I paid 16.99 for this pineapple chicken and it’s literally dry rocks of chicken on a stick. I ordered white rice, they put fried rice with shrimp which I’m allergic to. Then I paid 13.00 for two orders on chicken wings and fries. The chicken wings were decent but those fries were HORRIBLE. At least 3 hours old. The lady taking orders is rude and rushing, couldn’t get an answer to address my issue. This was my second time, I always give places two tries in case the first time was an off day… but nope second time was worst! Straight trash.

Came to try out the new restaurant and I am here to tell you to SAVE YOUR $$ and go elsewhere! Too many BETTER seafood in Beaumont than Kim’s. I ordered boiled crawfish and shrimp with the sides and EVERYTHING was over cooked, dried, and lacked seasoning. WORST BOILED SEAFOOD! Boiled shrimp hard to peel. Sausage look nasty and dry! Crawfish no flavor and over cooked! The restaurant wasn’t even busy only had 1 car in drive thru and another person inside ordering with me. I don’t even want to try their other foods when this boiled bag is nasty!
