Tofu hot stone bowl and tofu soup was amazing! Great vegetarian options.
By far the service and hospitality was the highlight. Felt like I was served a meal from my friend’s parents house (who are wonderful).

Understaffed. We waited over an hour for our food. The people next to us waited at least 30 minutes to order. When they are less busy they are much faster but we came Saturday during dinner when their tables were all full. Pretty good food, I have minimal experience eating Korean food, however based on what I tasted the salt was overpowering. Also overpriced for what we received, we paid $65 for our two meals and a drink after tip.

Dined in on a Saturday night. Great portions for the price. Nice staff. Great vibes. BYOB, no alcohol menu.
We had 2 appetizers, a roll of sushi, and a noodle dish. All was fantastic and the wait was short. They were about half full (I see people complaining about wait time). I also see people complaining about price…bro it’s Lake View, Chicago. The portions were huge, I left stuffed and so did my lady.
We will definitely be returning.

This family run establishment exudes joy. You can have a beautifully prepared meal with the perfect texture and flavor combinations. The staff is eager to help first timers with the menu. Will definitely return with new guests to enjoy.

This restaurant serves some of the best food in the area! We began our meal with the spring rolls, which were perfectly fried, crispy, and had a flaky crust. The highlight was definitely the Beef Bulgogi-the beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Crunchy Spicy California roll was outstanding, easily the best l’ve ever had.
Beyond the great food, the service was top notch, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Cannot say enough good things. Not only is the food spectacular, but the energy and warmth of the family who owns is unmatched. The woman who owns it just whipped me up a mini matcha cake for my birthday while we were joking about me having a cake. The husband and wife (and my friend) all sang to me. It was such a special moment that meant a whole lot to me. Already thought so highly of this spot but now I just see how special it is. Support this business, and support this sweet sweet family. The food alone is more than worth it. ❤️

Visiting Chicago in Nov’ 23 and we were on lookout for sushi spots.
It was raining and also pretty cold out IIRC, this was a Korean sushi fusion spot so we decided to stop by here.
No idea any of the dishes we ordered, but the last photo of dish with egg in center was mine. It was great, spot on.
We shared little of each from every plate.
All food was good actually. The plate that was almost all green color, that was excellent too.
Like I said, all dishes here were excellent, enjoyed this Korean/sushi spot in Chicago. Pretty great, hopefully can visit again.

I had the great pleasure of being in this neighborhood and went to Kim’s on a family recommendation. Without a doubt some of the best Korean food I have ever had. Everything from beginning to end was top notch. And that was just the food. The atmosphere and service was equally high quality. I will definitely be returning to explore the menu further. I highly recommend this place.

The bibimbap was wonderful and well-portioned, and the waitress was really kind—she gave us fresh fruit at the end of our meal.
The gyoza were also delicious, and the ambiance inside is great. I highly recommend!

My recent visit to Kim’s Korean Cuisine was delicious and wonderful.
The bibimbap was a colorful and satisfying dish, with tender beef and fresh vegetables atop a bed of perfectly cooked rice.
The bulgogi was a standout, with thinly sliced beef marinated to perfection, offering a sweet and savory blend.
The seafood stew provided a comforting warmth, brimming with a medley of fresh seafood and vegetables in a rich and flavorful broth.
The chap chae noodles were a delightful addition, with their chewy texture and well-balanced seasoning.
Complementing the fantastic food was the attentive service provided by the friendly staff, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable.
