I’ve been a customer of Kim’s Chop Suey for decades, but after today they are DEAD to me. I ordered Mongolian Beef and what I got was an insult — a giant mountain of slimy onions with maybe 10 pathetic scraps of beef hiding in there. That’s not a meal, that’s highway robbery. This place has gone from decent to absolute trash, and it’s clear they no longer care about quality or their customers. Kim’s Chop Suey is nothing but a rip-off joint now. Save yourself the disappointment — if you want to pay good money for a container full of onions and false promises, this is the place. Otherwise, steer clear. They’ve officially lost my business forever.

I ordered pork with pan fried noodles…delivery. what an awful meal. the noodles were rock hard and burned. there were 4 small pieces of pork surrounded by a few soggy pieces of zuchini. the gravy was a glop of corn startchy goop. frankly, I threw most of the order away…I will never order from Kim’s again. yuck!

Was my go to, not anymore. I ordered Mongolian Beef and got Alpo with a pile of boiled old onions. Beef fried rice was bland, no flavor. Place has gone to hell, stay away.

I ordered Mongolian Beef and what I got was an insult — a giant tub of onions with maybe 10 pathetic scraps of beef buried inside. What a rip-off! This place has gone completely downhill. The quality is garbage, the portions are a joke, and it’s obvious they don’t care about their customers anymore. Kim’s Chop Suey used to be worth ordering from, but now it’s nothing but a scam. Save your money and go somewhere that actually gives you what you pay for

Since living in Glenview, Kim’s has quickly become one our our favorite spots for takeout. The owner is always super nice and helpful. The food is AMAZING! Our personal favorites include the fried rice, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and sesame chicken. This is a must try place if you live in the area. I promise you won’t regret it.

Ordered Beef Fried Rice and it was not good. The beef pieces were big, thick and chewy. Beef fried rice should be chopped up small pieces, this one had too big of pieces and also fatty. Never again.

Inside of the store looks dilapidated that’s how you know the food is going to be good. Upon entering I was warmly greeted and my food was ready in 5 min. The vegetable fried rice was super delicious, the best I’ve ever had! The orange chicken was so good, I only wish the pieces were more bite sized but still really good. Great place.

This place used to be awesome about 10-12 years ago. They used to have the best fried rice and Sesame Chicken. The prices are cheap but buyer beware. It will destroy your stomach inside and out. I ordered the Orange Chicken today, and it tasted good. Less than 30 minutes later, I was then on the toilet. The fried rice that came with it was moist and it had no flavor because it was missing onion and egg. The egg roll was super salty. I called and the man’s first response was “What do you need”. My advice is to stay away. By the way the place is incredibly filthy and they leave their open sign on even when they are closed. They don’t care at all. That’s exactly who I don’t want cooking my food. New ownership has destroyed this place. I hope they get a nice and thorough inspection. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like.
