This was hands down some of the best food we had during our visit to Georgia. Our only regret was finding it at the end of our trip. The service was great and I highly recommend trying it you will NOT be disappointed. Deserves the highest rating.
Came in for Breakfast on our way back to Colorado and again received amazing food and incredible service. Thank you for your kindness and delicious food, you definitely made our trip better.

Absolute joy for the morning breakfast! This place is worth it at any time of day! The wait was worth every second. Crab cakes with bits of bell pepper and onion. Grits, eggs toast paired very well. I recommend the hot tea selections! Niya was running the whole spot and was STILL attentive! She was quite pleasent and gave us flexible options for the menu. Will be coming back! SOON!

GREAT SERVICE (THANKS JADE), Superb Food and ULTIMATE PLAYLIST to create the vibe I wanted. We came here for a light breakfast after a night on the town and Kim’s did not disappoint. I had been craving a good salmon patty ( and I’m funny when it comes to what I call a good salmon patty). Well let me tell this is def the spot for it. I got the salmon patty breakfast sandwich (excellently priced) with scrambled eggs and cheese, a side of butter grits and a chamomile hot tea with cream and Splenda. Man but by the time Jade (our lovely and hospitable, might I add), server returned for a 2 min/2 bite check in I was already shaking a tail feather in my seat the food was so good I highly recommend Kim’s and definitely ask for Jade she knows what’s going on. I’m still sitting here as I type shaking and grooving. LUV IT HERE!!!! It’s a vibe.

Kim’s Cafe was worth the hype. My brother in law from Nassau, Bahamas who stops in during SSU’s homecoming every year has been talking about this place for a while. I live right here in Savanah and had never visited until today with some visiting friends and they too like myself said we’d certainly return. We went in at the perfect time as we walked in and sat down and watched the restaurant within minutes of our entry. We did wait about 30 minutes for our food, but clearly it’s because they spend time making sure every dish is made right. We ordered a lot and everyone was happily satisfied. Hope you will be too!

If you’re looking for authentic Southern cuisine in Savannah, Kim’s Cafe delivers. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of collard greens, and everything was delicious and truly hit the spot. If I’m ever back in Savannah, I’ll definitely be returning.

We did an over the phone order. They do ask you to pay before placing order which is cool. Definitely good portions. I had oxtails and grits was seasoned well, I enjoyed it. My boyfriend had shrimp and grits he also enjoyed it. No complaints, customer service was on point as well.

It’s a no for me, first and last time. Grits were cold & stiff, eggs were burned, fish had a good taste but batter was falling off completely. Food looked nothing like what is pictured, whoever cooked this needs to be ashamed, doesn’t look appetizing period

They kept it real with their theme. “Fast food is bad and good food ain’t” Whatever it may be. Only problem was my wife and I waited over an hour and still received our food after a couple of parties that arrived several minutes after us. I thought it was because we ordered the oxtail and it just took a while but the parties that arrived after us got the same exact meal. Yhe problem with that was, they said they ran out of collard greens when it came to plating my dish. Well hell, how did the parties that came after me, received their meals before me, ordered the same exact meal as me and get theirs greens and I gotta settle for whatever else?
Food was great, as is at every other soul food joint in that location. The choice of service stood obvious. 1 star for that one, the other star for the food. It is what it is.
I’m guessing if you want great service, stay on the strip. Too many options to settle for whatever. Portions? My plate was not worth advertising, the beautiful couple beside us with the same meal though, theirs was stacked! Damn, maybe I should take it a star down. Naw, if you read this far, you know what it is.

What a nice find in Savannah. Very cool, chill Cafe. Delicious soul food brunch and relaxed atmosphere with soothing soulful sounds and walls draped in interesting and cool African American art. This place has a I am at my cool arsty auntie who can cook house vibe . Went for brunch and had the chicken and waffles the chicken was cooked nicely full of southern flavor. Wish I was in town longer would have loved to try one of the very southern African American lunch dishes. I loved this place will definitely visit again when I am in Savannah.

Saw great reviews for this restaurant on Instagram. While in Savannah I decided to try it myself. . . So happy I did!! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. We ordered fried chicken with yams and greens for 1 meal and smothered turkey wings with rice along with yams and green beans for the second meal. Both meals were absolutely delicious. Pack your patience when you go because food does not come out quickly, but it is WELL worth the wait. We will definitely visit Kim’s Cafe every time we visit Savannah!!
