Ok Ms. Kimmy! I just moved here from California and this is now my spot for food going forward. The sweet potatoes and stuffing were delicious. The greens were good too but a little cold. I ordered here from DoorDash. fried chicken was tender but needed a little more seasoning so I just added some lemon pepper sprinkle. My son had a cheddar burger and fries which was kid approved. Will definitely order again.

I ordered from Uber eats.Let me start by saying The food was absolutely delicious! The little bit I got. The portions for sides are ridiculous. They were delicious but It’s barely enough for one person and definitely not worth $6!!! I did enjoy the few green beans I did get. Will never buy sides again though… Not worth the money no matter how good they were. Also the smothered chicken was great but the two giant heading of rice was unnecessary. Especially since they didn’t have enough gravy to match. Good thing I bought extra gravy. Because instead of extra I got just enough and it cost me. Bottom line. I will order again but only if I go inside or pickup.

I normally don’t try and make bad reviews but the food wasn’t good. The mashed potatoes came from a bag you can tell they aren’t real for it being a soul food restaurant you would think they would be real. The meatloaf was not good at all. The “chili” had what looked like sliced canned carrots in it. Didn’t look or even taste like real chili. The blue raspberry lemonade was clearly kool-aid the blue lemonade kind. I had asked for hot sauce for the greens couldn’t even get that either. The Mac n cheese tasted like it came from KFCs yesterday leftovers. Greens were at least washed properly. I had ordered online and asked for silverware and didn’t get any along with the napkins I asked for almost got double charged for a drink I already purchased. Wasn’t worth the money I spent.

This is why I wanna share about this soul food. We order some food through Uber eat, they put the wrong food in there, they didn’t put half the food in there. Then when I called to try to get it, correct the young guy that was there at nonchalant, as if oh, we didn’t give you the string beans and potatoes when I told them they gave me the wrong meat, he told me I had to bring it back up there. Then he hung up in my face when I returned to call to talk to a manager, he They didn’t have no manager there, so therefore I’m asking you all please whatever you do do not go to this restaurant. They do not serve food good, they do not know how to talk to people they refuse to give you the number to the manager so you can get it straight now so I’m telling you, this place is bad, do not spend your money there and whatever you do, please don’t use Uber, eat to get food because you may end up with rats.

When I called and placed the order, the young lady who answered the phone was not very knowledgeable about what they were serving and also a l A lot of items that were on the menu, they did not seem to have in stock. After placing an order for the whole family I was told my order will take 30 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes later only to be told. I would have to wait another 20 minutes for my food to be ready when I received my food. It was greased up bags that had so much grease. I had to transfer it to another bag.. The food is Expensive and is definitely not worth the troubles. Some of the items we ended up throwing away because they just were not good at all. I would never come here again.

Placed an order for pickup at 8:25pm. I got there and didn’t receive my order until 9:10pm.
Greens – unable to eat the plastic lid was completely shattered and mixed into the greens which caused the juices to spill everywhere.

Catfish sandwich – 4 outta 10 & the fries were cold.
Watermelon lemonade – first they gave me a piña colada? Fixed it and gave me the correct item…it’s literally kool-aid for $5 you don’t taste no lemonade or watermelon.

We ordered a double bacon burger with ranch/bbq sauce ketchup. Received a single burger, no condiments except ketchup.
Ordered banana pudding- they sent a dry caramel cake.
We also ordered the 6 wing dinner. You can tell they fried the wings frozen because dried blood was on the bone.
Ordered a strawberry lemonade- it was sugar water. No flavor.
Beyond disappointed.

I placed 2 orders. One for 3 piece catfish with macaroni and cheese and spheghetti. The second order was 2 piece catfish, macaroni and cheese and candied yams. The food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best soul food I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely delicious.

I couldn’t eat the turkey chops they were not fresh! I’ve had day old turkey chops before these were days old. I couldn’t bite into them. The rice was mash so all I could eat was the rice and gravy.

This was absolutely DELICIOUS! I loved every aspect of this meal and I loved every minute of eating it! I truly savored every bite, it was THAT good. No fluff or Bs, honestly this was good eating. I got the dinner special which included a meat and your pick of 2 sides. I got the catfish (which was seasoned perfectly, it was moist and flavorful) along with chicken dressing and greens. I ordered a side of Mac on the side as well and peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was really good. I enjoyed their take on peach cobbler as well, as the cobbler part was almost more cakey than doughy, and I enjoyed it!
