We came in 30min before closing, waitress was courteous and nice. Food was nice and hot and still fresh. Appreciated the hospitality and great food…

Good service, good food, and not too long of a wait the day we went.
The area does have limited parking (what doesn’t in SoCal?), but we got lucky with the lot on the West side of the restaurant.
Pretty classic diner food but made with love.

Kimmie’s is great. Been to this one several times along w the one in Brea. The quality of the food and service has always been top notch. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette w Avocado & Bacon (keto). The pic does not do it justice, tasted fantastic. Probably because I ordered to go. I don’t love the price, but guessing rent in Downtown Orange along with what I hope is acceptable salaries for the staff is the reason. If you’ve never been, don’t discount it for a good breakfast.

If you want to have mediocre food with gas station coffee with a bunch of bearded white old men then go here maybe I should have gotten the French toast but doubt it was much better. The waitress is very attentive to you if you’re an old man. This place is weird. The blasting of Christian radio with commercials gave it the creepy red hat vibe, I am sure they seek. I was the only woman in the place for a reason. Next time I run out.

The menu is full of original creations…sooi delicious and Staff so fantastic this has become our go to spot. Especially when traveling family or friends are in town.
People Watching almost as terrific as the Yummy meals.
From almond encrusted French toast – Corned Beef Hash and egg it’s all same high end quality ingredients that r very fresh …defly makes difference in taste. Lot of healthy options as well.
All the eggs Benedict options are stellar… especially the California w/ avocado .
Also great for handi-CAPABALE folks. Patio is perfect or the counter. Alsonstaff will accommodate just about any request cuz so kind. Restroom is a straight line 2 back of building.
Staff again shows how competent & courteous they really R!
The cuisine is so great it’s hard to describe or choose just 1 entree.
We usually try to order a different dish each and then we all share…it’s pretty heavenly from a calorics standpoint:))
But i usually go fore the stuffed almond shaved French toast or sumthin with that’s stuffed with Nutella .
Others digg the more traditional breakfast fare. Gravy is stellar.
Nice spot 2 just sit at counter w/ paper ️ & coffee 2 start any day.
Extremely child and family friendly.
Very Pet Friendly…all kinds.
All the dishes are 4,5 or above… seriously.
Great Coffee ☕ as well.
Love sitting outside w/ Puppy ( again very animal friendly) and enjoying 1 of best people watching spots in Socal.

As a fan of breakfast this place has everything I love. Every classic and some nice spins can be found here. The food is absolutely delicious and the helpings are generous. The staff here is very friendly and genuine. Love the ambience they have going, I love that diner feel. It is definitely popular but if you show up early there isn’t much wait. Will be coming back for seconds.

We been to several Kimmies and always find the food and service great. Always a fan of the chicken fried steak. This time my wife had their special grill cheese with mushroom soup. That was a nice treat. Used sqaw bread in sandwich which made it super delicious

Kimmie’s is great for your more traditional breakfast. I’m not a fan of their burrito thought! I tend to get always get their scrambled egg with toast. So good! The staff is really nice and attentive and takes care of you quickly. Tends to pick up after 9:30am. Plenty of seating inside and outside. There’s typically a wait on the weekends and on peak hours of course.

This is a really cute diner style breakfast spot. Good service and large portions, you could probably share a plate. This is a good option if you have kids and just want something fast and simple that you know they will eat. You can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and people watch.

Classic breakfast with ham-in-bone, has browns and sourdough toast. Substitution of fresh fruit instead of hash browns was over $2. Food was well cooked and service was fast and friendly.
