We had dinner at Kimiya Japanese Cuisine in McKinney, and it was such a great experience!
The dinner all-you-can-eat is $34.95 per adult, and it’s definitely worth the price. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh, especially the salmon. Everything we ordered tasted delicious, and there were so many options — rolls, ramen, hibachi, tempura, and even dessert.
The quality was impressive for a buffet, and we were not disappointed at all.
A special thank you to Design (our server), who took great care of us. She was very attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even better.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in the McKinney area and craving fresh Japanese food!

A different take on the typical all you can eat scenario! It’s an elevated experience plus a lovely ambiance. The food is well prepared and they have fresh ingredients. The menu has a good variety, sure to capture different palates! I love the quality of the fish that they serve. Top notch. Thank you Kimiya Japanese Cuisine for bringing your resto to McKinney! The sushi was good. Sauces were better than expected. I was planning to order plum wine to drink. While plum wine is on the menu they didn’t have it available. The waiter staff was attentive but most seem new and made some rookie mistakes. Overall a positive experience. I might return to see how they have improved.

Our first time dining in and we were quite impressed. The quality of the fish was fresh. Presentation was chef’s kiss. We used to drive out to plano but are glad we now have a AYCE sushi in Mckinney. Will definitely be going again. Our server Vincent was great, very attentive.

Delicious! Excellent service! Flavors were excellent across everything we tried. Hibachi was excellent. Teriyaki was very good, not overly sweet. All rolls were delicious. The tempura cheesecake was amazing! Service was also excellent! We went at lunchtime, but I can imagine this place packed for weekend dinners, so have patience if you plan for popular times.

Fantastic! They had all of my favorite things to eat and lots of lovely new things to try. The spicy tuna rolls were wonderful, the miso soup was rich and delicious, the gyoza was fresh and tasty. I also tried their vegetable tempura and went for another round of both the soup and sushi. The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant clean and calm. I finished up with a very tasty and generous portion of green tea ice cream for dessert. Everything was really top shelf, very good quality and very tasty. I hope they last a very long time since I wish I could go every day from now on.

Both ramen broths were way too salty, I’m not sure if it simmered down or what happened. But they were extremely salty on January 4th.

First visit! My boyfriend and I enjoyed it very much! Our first time doing an all-you-can-eat-sushi! Not sure if they were low on workers, or if it was our personal server, or if it was on a wednesday night, but service was just a bit slow for our liking. Good atmosphere, we really liked the music playlist that was good for all ages, clean and kept well, food was fresh and tasty!! We really loved their hibachi chicken, eel and salmon sashimi, and green tea ice cream! We ate sooo much food. We will definitely be back. ❤️

I am super picky about fish bc I was not raised on it. This restaurant has really good quality fish and it’s not outrageously priced. I get the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer. It’s buttery and not too spicy. Beautiful presentation as well. The cucumber salad is also really good. Simple but flavorful. I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times within 2 weeks, I enjoyed it so much.

We did the AYCE option. Ordered various plates. The food was very good. I really liked the rolls. Our waitress was very nice and really made us feel welcomed. The restaurant looked very nice and it was very clean as well. I will definitely be coming back.
