Went to the Kimchi Box the other day because I wanted to try a Korean Hot Dog…Had the Potato Hot Dog filled with Mozzarella (for ya’all meatless foodies)…OMG!…Impressive Cheese Pull!! Plus, Super Crispy and Satisfying!! Also munched on the 10 piece Garlic Pepper Wings (looking for that “Crack” Chicken vibe), and the Kalbi Beef Shortribs with Rice, Salad, and Radish Kimchi…mmmhh, Delicious food; Definitely going on my “Wanna Go There Once A Month Eating Out” List! Bonus, the Owners are Super Sweet and Awesome!!

I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Garlic Salt chicken wings, fresh kimchi and the Bulgogi Lunch Bowl. I would say the chicken sandwich and the chicken wings were my most favorite items too eat. Especially the chicken sandwich, the chicken was juicy, thigh meat, seasoned well and fresh tasting. The pickled onions and the angel slaw with sauce was light and crunchy. Bun was toasted and good bread. The chicken was king in the sandwich. It had a nice kick of heat where you cannot label it as spicy or mild it was perfect. This chicken stayed crispy the whole time. It’s not like other chicken sandwiches where it gets soggy or soft while sitting in between the buns. I highly recommend this chicken sandwich. Not heavy but blessed with everything you crave and hope. It’s in a really cute little mom and pop shop. Good selection of drinks. If you are looking for something that hits the spot come here. At least for the chicken sandwich. The kimchi is fresh too and pairs well with the sandwich. I can’t wait to eat this again. The wings are really good but I’m sorry the sandwich is just good. Thank you for existing.

Been coming here since they opened. Love the popcorn chicken and Kimchi boxes. They’re fairly allergen friendly for my daughter’s food allergies and it’s her favorite Korean spot.

Great service off the bat, recommended great choices. Eunice was extremely nice! The food came out quickly and without anything missing. Crab Rangoon and gyoza to start was the move. The ramen was perfect and didn’t taste like a premade broth. I would recommend 100% and we will return! It’s also a plus they serve Beer and Soju!

This is a great spot if you love Korean food! I’m lucky to have it so close to home, it reminds me a lot of my mom’s cooking! The Spicy Pork Bulgogi and Chicken Sandwiches are all I’ve tried so far but both have been excellent.

Absolutely delicious food with beautiful presentation! I especially want to mention the kalbi and honey garlic fried chicken… incredibly yummy and steaming hot when they were served. The interior was also very clean and comfortable for me and my family. The owner was so kind as well, especially with my kids! We will come back again next time we’re in the area!

I only got the viral potato corn dogs with the mozzarella cheese inside. Pretty tasty. A little smaller than you see in the reels. But, fun and crunchy. A nice snack to share. I’d go back and try more.

I was very disappointed as I had been wanting to go there for awhile. I was confused as we went on a Saturday at lunchtime and we were the only customers in the restaurant. Many of their reviews mentioned lines and no tables available.
The popcorn chicken tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile after frying (very greasy and lacking crunch) and there was very little meat. The beef bulgoggi tteokbokki was bland. I don’t even want to eat the leftovers and we spent quite a lot of money. The woman at the register was nice enough and the food came out quickly. I see most of the bad reviews have to do with the customer service, not the food. For us, it was the opposite.

I can’t say that this was a good Korean place to go to especially when I was looking forward to Korean food. I ordered a “kimchi box” and it didn’t come with kimchi. If I wanted kimchi it was additional $2 which is no big deal but it was just the principle. And the kimchi was way overripe. It should have been thrown away weeks ago! The “kimchi box” entree was teriyaki chicken with too much sweet sauce and a little japche and green salad. If I was looking forward to a teriyaki chicken box I would have been a little happier. Husband had the chicken wings and they were good but pretty expensive for lunch in Tacoma. $23. Also, you get your own water and you have to bus your own table. I wish I would have known this before I left a 15% tip.

SO!!! FREAKING!!! GOOD!!! My boyfriend and I wanted to find a quick and delicious meal because we were on a time crunch. We showed up – we were pleased with all the options, and the service was great. We got the Spicy Pork Box to go, and it was out within a couple minutes. The food was so fresh and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 recommend, I will be coming back!
