I don’t live in Springfield so this was my first time eating here and it was very delicious I live almost 100 miles away but if I lived in Springfield I would come eat here all the time I got 2 appetizers 3 drinks then our 2 meals it so delicious I definitely recommend this place

Gabby and Abraham run what I dare say is the most humble, cozy, and delicious American Chinese establishment in Springfield.
To start the food. Amazing, never have I been more amazed with the consistent quality of the food, weather there is no one in there or tables are full the chicken dishes come out perfectly moist and delicious everytime. My personal favorite menu item is the spicy peanut chicken, it is up there with Lucky time’s orange chicken for my favorite American Chinese fast food dish in Springfield. Orange chicken, house special chicken, green wrap, spicy miso ramen. It is all to die for with its unique and BOLD flavor.
and why I love this place the most, the love I can see from the people that own it. Gabby and Abraham greet me with a smile and conversation every time I go in there, it truely does remind me the soul and culture you get by eating local and how they embody everything about a thoughtful, loving, homecooked meal right inside of their restaurant.
If you are someone in town looking for a new Chinese spot to get your itch, or someone in town passing by and dying to get Chinese food in the area because you’ve heard so much about it from Springfield. Kimbrough asian I promise you will not disappoint you, you will only wish there was one in your neighborhood

This cafe is a great place to hop in and eat! Whether you’re needing take out or dining in, the experience will be great regardless. Some recommended standouts are the Kung Pao Chicken, Spicy Peanut Chicken, and Cantonese Chow Mein. Highly recommend for any enjoyers of Asian food!!

This casual cafe was an easy in and out place. The food was delivered quickly, steaming hot. Portions were good, and the prices are fair. I noticed that they offered beer and had some liquor, so I know that they serve alcohol. It is cute, but nothing fancy. I am glad to have found it for easy, no-fuss Asian dishes.

A great find! The Mongolian beef is amazing. It’s not spicy at all, so let them know if you want spice.
Very reasonably priced and I am very much enjoying trying thier different menu items. I haven’t found one yet that disappoints.

Absolutely love Kimbrough Asian!!! There food is so good. You always get a large portion and if you leave hungry it is of no fault of the restaurant. The owners are so nice. They will make suggestions if you are unsure of what you want. Everything that I have tried has been delicious. I will continue to return.

immediately greeted by the owner upon walking in. She asks if I need to see a menu and says if I have any questions please let her know. She is warm and inviting.
They have the usual fare of Americanized Chinese dishes but also traditional. I ordered tofu beef and beef bulgogi.
I’ve read a lot of reviews about how weird the interior paint decorating is but I think it’s awesome. Very punk rock. Very we would have put our talent into cooking good food at an affordable price not spend thousands of dollars remodeling a restaurant.
The portion sizes are really good too especially for the price. I can easily get two meals out of one portion and for 10 bucks that’s great. I hope they do really well at this location

We’re going to be regulars here. We are tofu people and they do excellent tofu! The tofu steak is great, and you can replace meat in most dishes here with tofu and that opens up the whole menu! I will say, the vegetarian items listed on the menu are very small portions (priced accordingly) and even our elementary kids need to order more than one! We’ve noticed the foods that say they’re spicy are not spicy at all, so we’ll try asking for extra spice…
This is not an upscale Michelin starred restaurant, but it IS a dependable, casual, inexpensive, neighborhood Chinese spot, and I couldn’t ask for better.
