we were in scottsboro yesterday from fort payne and wanted to try something we don’t have here for dinner. we gave kim san a try and man oh man. we will definitely be the trip back. the dinner deal two can dine for $34 (i think was the price it was under $40) was too good to pass up. portions were perfect. taste, freshness, was out of this world. my husband got the kung pao chicken for his entree i got apple shrimp. definitely a stellar meal and experience. wish i could give 10 ⭐️

We’ve been looking for some really good Chinese food. Read several reviews that said this place was the best in North Alabama and some that said it was terrible. We’ve should’ve paid more attention to the bad reviews…because they are the accurate ones. The waiter was prompt and courteous, no issues with him. The food…hands down the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered the almond fried chicken. It was literally some bag chicken strips with brown gravy and almond slivers. Couldn’t even finish it. Nearest no count I’ve ever seen. Egg rolls were greasy and mushy. Cheese wontons were bland. All I can tell you is proceed at your own risk. If your expectations are extremely low, you may have a chance at leaving satisfied. Us…we won’t be back. I hate to bash a place this hard, but they’re not even trying.

This place use to be great. Went last week and I’m not sure what happened but the pineapple was absolutely rancid, and the chicken was a squishy texture and not recognizable as chicken at all. It almost looks ground but it wasn’t. It was strange. The rice had no flavor. My daughter got noodles and they were good. Our soups were both good as well. But I’m not sure what the deal was with the rest. I was concerned to eat my meal after smelling the pineapple

Decent food at reasonable prices. A good atmosphere and a nice selection of menu options. The only strange thing is their music selection is similar to that of a funeral home for some reason.

We’ve been having a lot of trouble finding a good Asian restaurant since we moved down to South Pittsburg, but tonight we decided to roll the dice again on a trip down to Scottsboro. It was SO worth the thirty-minute drive!
The cream cheese wontons were absolutely divine, and the Dragon and Phoenix, Black Pepper Beef (ordered spicy), and Combination Lo Mein were all delicious too. Big portions, as well, and at a very reasonable price!
The service was also excellent, and holy cow, the restaurant is SO cute!
10/10, will DEFINITELY make the trip down again!
