Great Ice Cream Shop. Some of the best I have ever had. Get a water to drink after because the ice cream is so rich and creamy. I recommend the lowcountry mud and Kilwins Tracks. Try the waffle cone with chocolate from the fountain inside the cone. The staff is always friendly and I haven’t tried anything in the many times I have been there I don’t like.

Sunday, August 31, 2025. Three of us went in. Three of us agree that it is probably the most flavorful ice cream we have ever had…and we don’t shy away from ice cream shops. During our weekend in Beaufort it was the friendliest establishment we ate in. (Restaurants are interestingly not friendly there.) Kilwin’s employees were very patient with our allergy questions and took care of making our selections safe. The toasted coconut chocolate is so good. Definitely a must have.

First time here and it was good! From candy to ice cream and milkshakes. We got the peach ice cream and the chocolate milkshake and some chocolate. They were all delicious! The chocolate they used for the Milkshake was rich and my family enjoyed the peach flavored ice cream! They have benches in front or you can enjoy the dessert walking in the back towards the beautiful walkway.

Bay Street in Beaufort is a great place to spend time walking. You’re close to the river, there are great restaurants and shops, oneI found out was very expensive the hard way after my wife walked in. Kilwins was a treat. It was very hot outside, we walked in, it was cool with a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was great, and as we expected the ice cream was exceptional (as it should be for the price). it was a lot of fun to watch that young kids stand up in the front window, making ice cream. It is a great place.

So I went here simply because it was next door to Q’s, where I had just gotten dinner. I walked in here and had the urge to spend so much money. Fortunately, the staff helped me narrow it down to me simply getting some ice cream. I will say this: I got to talk to both Bailey and Talis. They are both very pleasant. I watched Talis fight with a bin of some very delicious peppermint ice cream in order to get me a dish made. I will say at checkout, Talis was so nice during the experience I honestly didn’t know how much to tip. The ice cream itself was amazing even in the cold I think the fudge and the cherry flavor I chose went together nicely.

The chocolate carmel pecan confection was very good, but when we ate the chocolate fudge later in the day, it was very dry. It appears that they cut the fudge and let it sit quite a while on the marble slab before it gets put in a box so the edges dry out
