The smell when you walk into Kilwins is AMAZING! Right away you’re hit with the the many flavors of fudge and the staff is always accommodating and generous when offering samples before you purchase any of it. Typically they run a special, buy two pounds get one free. About $25 for 3 “bricks” of fudge. Yes, the fudge and other chocolates and ice cream are pricey BUT this isn’t basic chain ice cream or chocolate. The quality surpasses other places by far. The ice cream is some of the most fresh and creamy I have ever had. And if you order mango ice cream, you’re tasting mango. Real mango.

There are about 4 tables in the back to sit and enjoy anything you buy and want to eat before leaving. The store always looks and smells clean and staff is super friendly. I received a gift of fudge from my daughter last night. She came from Kilwins to my house, 1 mile. Fudge was so hard and dry I had to use a metal butter knife to cut through it. It was very hard and very dried out. I know you always say you use only the finest ingredients, but there was nothing fine about this!!
