Originated sometime between 1946-48, we give you a classic wisconsin buttery burger, crinkle cut fries and delicious frozen custard. We are a cash or check only establishment, with space to park under the canopy, sides and behind. Car hops will come take your order from your vehicle! “Roll”down your window and enjoy this iconic lake country classic drive in, with car waitress service. Picnic tables for sitting outside of your car. If it’s busy, you may get your Custard or food quicker by ordering at the counter as you may have to idle behind another car until a car port spot opens up for service. My personal favorite is the Turtle Sunday with a Root beer float in close 2nd!

Cash only. Go for the drive in experience. Not the food. The custard is kind of like a mix between McDonald’s and Culver’s. If you want custard, stick with Culver’s.

Cash only. I ordered the cheese fries and double cheeseburger . Fries were good and seasoned well, the cheese had been sitting in it’s container for quite a while though, some of it had dried out. The burger was ok, the meat lacked flavor and the texture was a bit weird. Cost was $12. Quality was about what you would get from Burger King, not bad but nothing to get excited about. I may come back to try their chicken and cheese curds but I wouldn’t order the burger again. Service was quick and the server was pleasant.

Visited for the first time 8/12/23. What a hidden gem. I’ve probably been by this place a dozen times on Hwy 16 and never knew it was there. My son and I each had burgers and we shared some fries. He had a black cow for dessert and I had a turtle sundae. Everything was excellent. Service was also very good and we will definitely be returning soon.

Went last night with family service was subpar. Food over seasoned servers overlooked us multiple times and helped people who just arrived. Then half our party was served right away. The rest of us didn’t receive our food until they were done eating. It’s just not what it used to be. I’m really sad. i loved this place as a kid, but things have definitely changed.

The Carmel and hot fudge tastes.artificial…the turtle sundae has definitely changed since.last year! I have been going here for 50 years and the quality of the toppings is terrible. For the cost of a sundae, premium toppings should be used. So sad.

Nice little drive in restaurant. Chicken tenders and cheese curds are great! The burger is not so great. And the vanilla ice cream has an odd flavor to it. The waitresses are very good. This place is busy!! Cars are always double parked. You need to know that they only accept cash payment. No credit cards or checks.

I DO Not Recommend KILTIE’s. 2 Rude server girls, I walked up to read the menu behind the glass and was told to leave the area to keep the sidewalk clear for servers to deliver food. I sat down on a sitting bench then Was told to wait out in the parking lot driving area in the hot sun. I thought she was joking but she wasn’t, she told other customers the same thing.Weird. Food quality not worth the prices. Cold cheeseburgers, the bun & part of the burger were cold. I ordered the works & raw onion got 1 small single ring of onion. The beef was thin and over salted. I was surprised, bcuz it used to be good food and a Great Place but not this visit. I felt very disappointed and heard others saying the same things.
