I love this place! The service was good, the food was spectacular and the vibes were off the charts!!! I’m a sucker for everything old and vintage and this was the perfect spot for me! We ordered and our food came in 5 minutes. I had a double cheeseburger and an Oreo shake and both were soooooo delicious. The burger rivaled Five Guys and the shake was one of the best I’ve had! 10/10! If you haven’t been, you will not regret going!

Ice cream was good. Fries were ok. Burger was horrible. The bun was dried, hard and crumbling apart. Obviously stale and been around awhile. The burger patty was nasty and almost freezer burnt like texture and taste. Wouldn’t recommend

This was a tremendous place to stop at. Definitely a hometown favorite for those in the area, but for those of us traveling through, it was a wonderful place to visit. I didn’t get a chance to try a burger or any other food, just one of their fudge sundaes which was absolutely delicious. Their staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Service is very quick. The place was clean. And whoever the current owners are, it’s great that you’re keeping a tradition and a touch of Americana history alive. I hope to be back.

7/7/25. Today I stopped in and enjoyed the Kiltieburger. It’s a sloppy joe style burger. It was excellent. The rootbeer was very good, and the Turtle Sundae was superb. I encourage you to stop in when you are in the area.

We had a bacon cheeseburger with delicious crinkle cut French fries, (served very hot) and a raspberry orange shake and a fudge royal Sunday. Everything was delicious. The service is great and everyone is friendly.

Have been going to the Kiltie for years. Love the nostalgia and atmosphere. The service is great but the food is overpriced. I would rate the hamburger a 5 at best. The shakes however are notoriously good!

This is the only review I’ve ever given. I have never been so impressed by customer service. Everyone is always in such a rush these days so it was refreshing to talk to someone who genuinely cares about customers. I recently called to inquire about the Dole flavors, and Natalia provided outstanding customer service. She kindly explained that they are only offered on weekends, then took the time to ask about my favorite flavor. When I mentioned pineapple, she let me know I was in luck because they had a convenient take home special available. I was so impressed with her friendliness and professionalism that I asked to speak with a manager, only to learn that she is a manager herself! It is clear this location has an excellent team. I left extremely satisfied and will definitely be returning!

“Roll”down your window and enjoy this iconic lake country classic drive in, with car waitress service. Picnic tables for sitting outside of your car. If it’s busy, you may get your Custard or food quicker by ordering at the counter as you may have to idle behind another car until a car port spot opens up for service. My personal favorite is the Turtle Sunday with a Root beer float in close 2nd!

Every years since moving to Oconomowoc in 2007 , we have gotten food from here. Never have an issue, other than a wait, but a wait is expected. It’s a wonderful business. I know of plenty of area teens that have worked here too. Never have had an issue with their food or employees at all. I love to post an updated menu with prices when we can. Please remember that they do not take credit cards, only cash! This helps to keep prices down. And please remember that it is no businesses fault for road construction, the bridge is unsafe and hopefully will be fixed soon. Just take the other route and you will be fine.
