Killer tacos… killer name!
Heard amazing reviews about this place so I went and had some tacos, I wanted a burrito but ended up w a promo offered by the clerk. I was good but still hungry 3 tacos never been enough next time going for the longboard burrito! Place is nice atmosphere not working that day. Outside tables may be the best as inside is a mix of a sport bar art clothing store… definitely a designer can help but for the food which that’s why we here excellent! Will definitely return! Gracias

Great tacos and they aren’t shy about loading them up.

We stopped here for lunch as we were in the area and local tacos are always worth a try. The parking lot seems sufficient for the size of the restaurant, which is important because it’s a very busy area and a lot of the parking lots are for specific businesses and their customers.

The tacos are delicious, fresh, and they don’t skimp on the meat at all. I was honestly surprised at how full they were. The sauce was great and toppings were excellent as well.

There is seating inside as well as a restroom for customers. The counter staff was friendly and the food was up fast. I’d absolutely come here again.

Overall, this was a pretty good choice. The service was outstanding and even though there was only one person working here, he was very nice and made our food pretty quickly. We ordered both the big nachos and the little nachos as well as the short and longboard burritos. The food was pretty decent although a little expensive, but I guess that is what you would expect of North Shore food. The salsa wasn’t very spicy and there was no hot sauce, but I guess that is fine for most people. The dining area was very clean and spacious and the restaurant was very well air conditioned.

My friends went to our practice for region early and we were hungry and we didn’t know where to go. Then we found killer tacos on apples maps and were a bit suspicious, but decided to go anyways. When we got to restaurant the parking lot and restaurant was empty, but they still had a smile their face when we went in and greeted us with open arms, even though their menu have much variety they have amazing options for the food they serve, including one vegetarian option. When we got our food it was delicious and was very filling. When we thought it couldn’t get any better the manager comes up to us and ask if the food is okay and says that he will take care the next time. Overall I give this place a 10/10 because food was amazing, the staff was nice and had good vibe, and the environment we nice and calm.

Fantastic service in this cool little spot in Haleiwa. Best Mexican-style food I’ve had on the North Shore. Vegetarian options and filling portions. I got a veggie bowl and would be happy to come back and enjoy another one. Ono!

We were greeted immediately as we entered. They even walked us through their meats and ingredients. They try to make up for the price with lunch deals, but they are pretty pricey. The salsa is good, but I wish they had a hot sauce selection for the food. On the plus side, they are one of the few places with a parking lot. Overall, tacos are decent, but it wouldn’t be my choice. Killer Tacos with a “KILLER” price.

I really liked the vibes at Killer Tacos. The customer service was excellent and very friendly. The tacos were just okay; perhaps that’s my fault for ordering the hard shell. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more with soft shell tacos. However, the fish was very good. Overall, the meal just didn’t hit the mark for me. I plan to come back and give it another try next year. I apologize for the less-than-stellar review, but I have experienced a wide range of taco godlyness, scoring them anywhere from 4/10 to 10/10. Keep up the good vibes!

So I was on my way to visit some friends on the beach. When I realized I needed gas . Let my partner know so she could look for a gas station on our way. Thankful there was 1 right next to the best kept secret so far in Hawaii. Killer Tacos was by far best handmade food to find on the Island with a Mexican twist. Holly cow the Supreme Nachos was Amazing. And the burritos are huge. Mahalo…..to the gentleman who is from Austin, TX. Hope your still there in a few more years for when I visit again.

Definitely good food for what it is. Filling and taste good. Nothing fancy very simple, I mean that in a good way. It was good enough to where I remember going there nearly 20 years ago and went back. Both times I went I was satisfied.

Killer Tacos has a laid-back, surf-inspired vibe that’s easy to appreciate, especially if you’re on Oʻahu looking for a casual spot to kick back. Located just a few minutes from the beach, it feels like the kind of place surfers and locals might frequent after a long day catching waves. The atmosphere is relaxed, with walls adorned with surfboards and beachy decor, and the staff is friendly, giving off an effortless island charm.

I decided to try their fish tacos, a staple for any taco joint, and I had high hopes. When they arrived, the presentation was decent – two soft tortillas stuffed with seasoned fish, topped with coleslaw and a drizzle of sauce. The fish itself was fresh and flaked nicely, a definite plus when it comes to tacos. The toppings were crisp and added a nice crunch, while the sauce provided a bit of tang to balance the flavors.

That said, while the meal was enjoyable, I couldn’t help but feel that it was missing something that would set it apart. The flavors were mild, and I found myself wishing for a bit more spice or zest. It didn’t have the kind of punch or uniqueness that makes you crave it long after you’ve left.

All in all, Killer Tacos delivered solid, fresh fish tacos, but they were just that – good, not great. If you’re looking for a quick, decent taco fix near the beach, it’s worth a stop. Just don’t expect a flavor explosion or anything particularly memorable.
