Looking over the menu there were a ton of options that sounded good, the sea turtle and the waffle sandwich both sounded awesome. The sea turtle was awesome!! Very good “ice cream” and sauces, a little more nuts on it would have made it even better.

The BEST frozen custard. We LOVE Kill Devil’s. I know Culver’s is popular for their custard, but this one blows it away. It is silky smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. They have chocolate and vanilla as standard flavors with a rotating flavor of the day. Yesterday it was coconut (blissful) and today’s is caramel cheesecake (delicious). They have a great selection of custard treats like sundaes, shakes, and waffle custard sandwiches
They also have a great food menu. We had burgers and a bucket of fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff is great, and they get your order out as quickly as possible. No reason to go to 5 Guys, come here instead. You won’t regret it.

This place was fantastic! We ordered the Better Burger and the NC Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and they were both delicious. The burger patty tasted super fresh and the veggies were also crisp. The NC bbq tasted pretty legit and the slaw was a great addition to the overall taste. The bun’s unbeatable— it tasted super buttery and had a really nice fluffy texture. I definitely am coming back here!
The people working here were also great, kudos to them for keeping a steady yet fast paced service to a very busy place!

We’ve only tried two of their items (Cookie Monster sundae and waffles and ice cream) but we will certainly be back! Prices were great, service was friendly, and we found out they have burgers as well at a decent price too!

Smokin’ Mississippi Chicken BBQ was amazing! My partner really liked his hot dog and fries. We also had a special sundae made with french toast that was delicious. Will definitely be back!

The fries are very good but not anything like the boardwalk fries in Ocean City, MD where I grew up. Kill Devil’s French fries are very good though. The sub was good, but average. Needs mayonnaise. Corn dog was fine. The custard WOW was the highlight of our lunch. Today’s flavor was blackberry. I guarantee we will be back tomorrow to get custard and fries. Maybe a shake to dip fries in hmmmmm.

A great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. I ordered the Cookie Monster Sundae. That consists of 2 Fresh Baked Cookies, your choice of custard, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. I do not believe the cookies are Fresh Baked, unless they mean that day they were baked. A warm soft cookie would be easier to handle and eat with a plastic spoon. I did not try any of the food but that all looked great, including the fries! The customer service was great and the way they handle social distancing makes it easy. The parking is a bit tricky but still worth the stop if you like custard!

***returned the this year(2024) prices have gone up a bit but still great food for the money *** Hands down the most neatly wrapped big burger I’ve had for all that was on it the burger was put together by a pro lol. Definitely in top 3 burgers I’ve had in OBX (Kill Devil Burger) based on price, presentation, promptness, this might be my go to lunch spot. Large fries was enough for me and my lady to share which 2 double burgers and fries at $25 was great for the area and quick lunch. Will be back shortly to try the frozen custard. Never had that can’t wait!
