Our monthly drive up north on Kauai to have our favorites: artichoke with olive tapanade bialy, guava/ coconut flakes/ulu muffin and hazelnut latte. This particular bialy is exquisite… salty, tangy, savory; and sooo good! Then… the super moist and sweet flavor of guava, coconut flakes and ulu will “hit the spot”! Top it off with a hot fresh brewed hazelnut latte! What a way to start your morning by rewarding yourself and your loved one with wonderful morning treats.

Best salads and pizza on the island! We love the outside picnic area. So fun and delicious. We went to this location on two occasions on our vacation. The pastries are as good as the pizza. If you are headed to the lighthouse this is the perfect place to stop in for a slice!

A great atmosphere. Loved the outdoor seating.
I can only speak for the cream puff and eclair.
We did arrive in the afternoon but the eclair and cream puff were very dry and not flavorful
Service was very friendly though.

Great little bakery! Finally found some malasadas! Tried the raspberry and sweet potato….fabulous! The lemon bar was out of this world! We liked purchasing the pastries and then eating alfresco at the wrought iron chairs w/umbrellas. Great Kauai find!

My favorite place to eat scratch-made comfort food in Kīlauea. They always have 3-4 varieties of soup that are all usually very yummy and served with a slice of bread baked fresh that day. The outdoor seating with canopy and a cute, colorful library is such a vibe.

Friendly service but we were not a fan of the gluten free options. We tried a gluten free scone and a gluten free guava coconut muffin (we ordered the vegan/gluten free banana muffin but didn’t realize until after we’d left that they gave us the wrong one)- both were super dry and the muffin was actually bitter. We were also excited to try the vegan/gluten free pizza option. The crust had a nice texture but it was super bland and there was barely any vegan ulu cheese on the pizza. Definitely not worth the upcharges. We had to drizzle ranch all over the pizza to give it flavor. We also got a gluten free mini bread loaf to take home which was hard as a rock. The inside was softer once we cut into it, but very dry like the other options and had a lot of fennel in it so unless you love fennel I wouldn’t recommend it.
The plus of the visit was the vegan chocolate raspberry grand marnier cake. Super rich, decadent and delicious. We also got a chocolate guava macaroon that was decent. If we ever go back, I would steer clear of any of the gluten free options and just go for traditional gluten pastries/pizzas.

Wonderful bakery/pizzeria that also serves salads. Baked goods are delicious! Worth a stop if you are in the area!
There are also cute little shops in this area. This shopping area was home to the last working sugar plantation on the island – lots of history along the walls of this shopping area.

I love pizza! I was in the mood for a pizza so we stopped here to try them out. The pizza was pretty good but the crust was on the dry side. Service wasn’t very friendly either. They weren’t hateful, but not very welcoming. I ordered anyway and pizza came out pretty quick. They do have a nice covered are outside to enjoy your meal.
